Overall I like it. Sandwiches are pricey for what you get but I can look past it cause they're locally owned and they're still good sandwiches, and the staff is really great.

I give it one star and it’s ONLY because of the tipping situation.
My 10yo son went and grabbed a drink, then he went and paid for it and the guy asked him to make a selection for the tip.
The guy should have been a decent human and not asked a child for a tip while he scanned a soda that was over priced to begin with.
I won’t be back and I have instructed my kids not to tip when they are getting drinks and no service.
That man is a disappointment to society.

I ate for the second time, and I’m really impressed. IMO they have the best gluten-free baked goods in town. The staff is friendly and always ready with great meal suggestions, and the food is fresh, flavorful, and interesting. I had the ham, brie, and apple sandwich with hot honey mustard for lunch, and it was a delicious combination of flavors.
The highlight, though, was the desserts. We had the carrot cake and chocolate cake, both with unique flavor combinations and textures. Neither tasted gluten-free, which is a big plus—they were moist, not too sweet, and held together well.
Overall, I love this place. The only improvements I could suggest are a bit more seating and a satellite location downtown!

Our first time here while visiting friends that live in the area. The best breakfast, customer service and atmosphere that I have had by far. Love it.

Amazing food! Visited this restaurant and market every day of our visit to Durango. There were delicious gluten-free items including fresh bakery foods. The market sells my favorite gluten-free grocery products.
Love the Scout sandwich! Enjoyed their lasagna, pizza, soups, baked goods (a little too much!). Steve and Aimee are quite the culinary team! Check it out!

Came it to get one of those amazing Rueben sandwiches and of course I had to get one of their really good chocolate bars!
I got some work done looking out one of their huge open windows looking out at the forest. I can’t recommend this spot enough!
If you haven’t tried their sandwiches, coffee, pastries, or coffee cake you gotta swing by!
