Fun little coffee shop in a historic Taos neighborhood. Great drinks, cool vibe, and a very chill little dog perched inside, next to the door.

We stop here every time we come to Taos. The espresso is rich and warming; the tasty bites are nourishing and soulful. Super cute atmosphere and a lovely place to relax, conveniently located right off the main road as you get into Ranchos de Taos.

A great place to stop in for a warm drink, snack, and good vibes while in Taos. Lacy has put a lot of love and care into the space and it really shows. The gingerbread muffin is one of the best gluten free treats I’ve ever had! Drinks were good too. Highly recommend stopping in. Thanks Lacy 🙏🏼

We are local and I would say Mountain Monk has officially taken 1st place as the cutest, coziest, most adorable coffee house in Taos! Everything is done impeccably and with a focus on quality and beauty throughout! And there’s yoga and sound healing next door if that’s your thing!

From the drinks to the food Mountain Monk is top notch! Lacy makes everything in house from
scratch and you can taste and feel the love oozing out! You can’t go wrong with any dish but my personal fav has to be the avocado toast!
Super unique and fun drinks like the Sweet Beet, or many unique cacao offerings.

Delicious gluten free food, coffe, teas, calm and inviting atmosphere. The gluten free deserts are really tasty too.
Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free and delicious, hard to find a place like this.

The atmosphere is great! Both relaxing and high quality service provided. Only had coffee but it was excellent!
One of the BEST Avo Toasts I’ve ever had. Their homemade gluten free flax oat bread was innncredible! The herbal pesto was so creamy and nicely complements along with the sprouts and edible flowers! Delish! Kicking myself for not taking a pic because it was sooo beautiful to.

While I appreciate what this place is going for, I just waited 25 minutes for the weakest ($6) latte I’ve ever had. Really can’t recommend, unfortunately.

Cozy and unique interior with comfortable seating and delicious coffee and great music. Was struck by how friendly the staff was as well as the care put into the decor. You know the coffee taste good because there’s so much good vibe in this place.

The service was personable. The pastries, especially the scones, were amazing!! I suggest going early and getting them fresh out of the oven. Honestly, THE BEST SCONES I'VE EVER HAD and I worked at a few shops too. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was quaint. Definitely making this shop one of my favorites.
