Sushi always fresh and delicious. A bit disappointed that they no longer have their tomato ramen.
The salmon and hamachi sashimi were excellent. The lime twist roll was also good. Nice casual place for good sushi in Durango.

Some great dishes created outside the box. Couple misses but mostly hits!!! My complaint is the service. Seems scattered, under staffed. Dish timing / server communication was poor!!! Usually a 20-25% gratuity for servers. We were generous with 15% here. Bill was $230 + 15%. We'll look at other options for sushi.

Happy Hour prices were nice, but food and service were AWESOME! Larry was so great as our waiter! The sushi rolls and BJ drink were SO satisfying!

Our go to restaurant. Everything is always good. Something for everyone. We always take our out of town guests there! Solid 4 stars with a really fancy award winning urban sushi restaurant being 5 stars at twice the price.

Our favorite restaurant in town and one that never disappoints! The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and friendly. It can be crowded on the weekends so be sure to get your reservation in!
I just ate at Pop Sushi in Durango, Colorado, and let me tell you—I might need to go back tomorrow, strictly for scientific purposes. I walked in really hungry, and now I’m wondering… was the food actually amazing, or was it just my appetite doing the talking? Either way, it hit the spot.
The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly, and the food came out looking beautiful. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Still, I’m tempted to return for a “second opinion” just to be sure my taste buds weren’t being overly generous today.
If you're in Durango and craving sushi, this place is absolutely worth a try. Just be careful—you might find yourself coming back the next day too!

Passed this place a few times when we come to Durango and decided to stop and give it a try. We got a table really quick and the server was attentive. We asked for recommendations and we went with what he recommend and had no regrets. We ordered the Bangkok Noodles and the Lime Twist sushi roll. I am not a fish eater but I had to try the lime twist roll and it was amazing...I.would order it next time. It wasn't fishy at all. I am actually craving it again so I know where we will be headed on our next visit. The noodles were very good too I would order these again, as well as their alcoholic drinks, I believe we had a passion fruit margarita. We will return and I recommend stopping in to give it a try.

Yummy fresh sushi in Durango for the win!! So happy I finally got a chance to try Pop Sushi!
Great spot and would highly recommend the bowls.

The fish is great. I disagree with the decision to put citrus oil and wasabi on the Nigiri. It doesn't need it and lots of people don't want the sushi chef to decide on wasabi. We had it loaded on and were trying to scrape it and the strongly flavored oil relish off.
If you are really a sushi lover I recommend the sashimi. They can't load it up with overpowering flavors.
Service is fast and they flip tables quickly. Its not a bad place for a casual date but not a fancy dinner atmosphere. Something in between a sports bar (TV's playing on the walls) and a nice sit down place.
Great place.
Food was great. We loved everything we ordered. Nice decor and atmosphere too. Except…the multiple TV’s throughout the restaurant…showing MMA (mixed martial arts) fighting. It was so repulsive to have to watch humans beating each other to a bloody pulp while trying to relax, forget about what’s wrong with the world for an hour, and enjoy ourselves. The TV’s seemed so out of place to begin with (this isn’t a sports bar, might have even categorized it as fine dining based on prices) but to be subjected to such violence was just wrong and thoughtless on the part of management and honestly every employee there. So strange. And too bad because literally everything else was wonderful.
Everything was delicious! Our first time ordering the Steam Buns, and they were fantastic. We are eager to return. The restaurant gets really busy very quickly, so I’ll advise to get there early and make a reservation. Certainly worth it!
Good food, good service. Served under cooked steak but otherwise good
