Tried going here because the photos look phenomenal, but had a lot of trouble finding the place. The storefront looks like Lola’s and has a very hard to find indication of any Japanese food. We went in and asked and were told that they are not currently serving Japanese food, but instead are a taco shop.

We had the Kobe Beef Yakiniki bowl. It was utterly great, unbelievable. My wife is Japanese from Hawaii and she was super impressed and said it was the best she ever had. Great experience.

No longer in business
I really want to like this place but I got the salmon poke and it was horrible. Salmon was so mushy and inedible. Had several friends try it and we couldn’t eat it. The tuna poke was better but it’s overpriced for portion size.

These folks have AMAZING food and are so friendly. Yesterday they gave me a free sample of their newest sushi rolls and it was SO GOOD, and so incredibly kind of them. Thank

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner here. Lola’s place has great ambiance. You do have to get up and order a 2nd round of alcohol or non alcoholic beverages which isn't the end of the world. The chef of Rokko personally brought out our food and explained the dishes and his inspiration. Highly recommend their ramen also the steak with rice dish was excellent!

This place is great and the people are nice too. They have ramen now too. The stir fry noodles are the best I’ve had. They even make their own chili oil!

Terrible food with 45 minute wait and a passive aggressive stare by the “chef”. What a waste of 30

I ordered katsudon! It was sitting in like 3 inches of soy sauce juice, and the steamed rice was wayyy too soggy. Egg cooked badly. If Gordon Ramsey came here he would be FURIOUS!!!!

Our group had the choice of food truck during a recent wedding welcome reception and the overwhelming favorite was Rokko Izakaya. The food was excellent with extremely friendly service. While others may have had varied experiences, we found the wait to be minimal for a moderate size group and well worth it.

Food truck at Lola’s serving tasty Japanese foods. Several vegetarian and vegan options. Ordered the fried rice and yaki soba with tofu, both were tasty and well flavored. The outdoor space at Lola’s is nice with lots of shaded seating
Everything here is amazing. The salmon is my favorite and I had to force myself to try something else (in spite of my addiction to the salmon dish) and I’ve continued to try new dishes every time and it has been amazing. Good quality food is ALWAYS worth the wait.
Really liked their yakisoba until today. I took one bite and realized that they decided to start putting seaweed on chicken yakisoba? It was gross and the seaweed tasted like fish food smells. Very disappointing. Waste of time and money.
This place has great food. However the wait time to receive it is egregious. Waited half an hour for a single dish, as the only customer. Ridiculous. 4 employees take over half an hour for a single dish? How could this possibly be justified? Not to mention it's mid December as of writing this so I had to wait out in the cold. Employees were rude and forgot part of my order, even though they had ample time to get it correct. Do not waste your time here.
