Southern Restaurants in Durango

“Great food - actually a very resonable deal on ribs. They also have po boys with catfish and such. Even fried alligator sometimes. Friendly folks with good atmosphere. Just far enough off main street that its not crazy. We eat there pretty regularly. Beats the other bbq place in town hands down. Fried corn on the cob is excellent!!“

“We came to this restaurant in September of 2022. We were taking the scenic route from Southern Missouri to Moab utah. I found this restaurant in a brochure at one of the hotels we stayed at along the way. When we got there it was quite the wait. Good sign? Beyond good sign!!! My friend and I had catfish, my husband had a shrimp poor boy and as appetizers the men ordered oysters on the half and I had shrimp. The food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was very attentive. We were so impressed. We're planning a trip back to moab in 2024 and we will definitely be making our way back!!!! One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Side note. The owner at the door is so nice and told us about how he came to be in durango it was one of the highlights of our trip“
