“Please note this review is about the CHEF'S COUNTER EXPERIENCE, which they make a point of saying is separate from the main restaurant experience.

To be honest, I was pretty disappointed. The meal (two tasting menus plus two wine pairings) came out to $700 and it simply wasn't worth it. Part of the issue is the 22% service charge which they include automatically. I already don't like when 18% service charges are included automatically. 22% is obnoxious.

The service was very good, but not good enough to pay that much for. The food on the other hand was OK. I give the dishes an A- or B+ on unique and interesting. But some were too salty, and the overall flavors just didn't wow me enough to warrant a $700 price tag for dinner for two. The wine pairings were excellent though, and they served some very good and interesting wines.

I'd like to try the normal restaurant at some point, but wouldn't do the chef's counter experience again.“

It was $25 with a coconut water with a cold arepa! The food and coconut water was good though but it just sucks that it was cold and expensive. Overall, I highly recommend this place for some beautiful views, atmosphere, and food! Just avoid the arepa place.“

“Did a distillery tour and tasting experience. It was approachable and interesting, and the tastings were fantastic! Showed up early to enjoy a cocktail before the tour, and went away with a bottle of One of the whiskies we tasted. This is the only distillery of its kind in America (single pot still) and their whiskey and gin are incredible!“

Kai did such a phenomenal job and we wanted to give him a huge shout out. The class was so fun and informative. He made it really special for us and our two friends and it was a very special outting for us celebrating! We also got to celebrate the season and just enjoy our time out together. Mike High Spirits is fun and vibrant and always has great music and often like today they had live music! The drinks were perfect and unique and we always come here for a good time whether it’s a prize we won or just walking by and visiting on a whim or a planned visit. It’s always a delight and I highly recommend not just coming here but planning a tour as well!
