“Check this place out! I went to the Columbine cafe last night to hear the Cody Sisters band. Columbine has a great deal on concert evenings: $20 for a burger, a beer and live music! I had already eaten dinner so I paid a $10 cover charge. Columbine has 6 or 7 great beers on draft, plus other flavors in cans. I knocked off one star because the ground in the beer garden is tripping hazard. (Yeah, I'm an old fart...) BTW: the burgers looked delicious! Rog“
“We hosted our Wedding After Party here (~50 people). The Miners Saloon team crushed the service! They were wonderful to work with and their food and drinks are delicious. This bar is perfect for a meal, snack or drink at any time of the day! It's a must see in Golden :)“
“This place was so much fun. My husband and I are from Vegas and looking for a place open late. Someone recommended The Underground and it did not disappoint. We had a blast shooting hoops and playing skee ball. The bartender Cody was great. Had a great conversation with him and he was very attentive and friendly. “I had the bison meat loaf sandwich without quite knowing what to expect. It was delicious, while being unlike any other meat loaf I have eaten. If you're a senior with a limited appetite like me, you might need to ask for a doggy bag. I ate the whole sandwich and left some fries on the plate.“

“Amazing experience. Kayla is the best bartender I’ve seen. Goes the extra mile in an each and every cocktail no matter how slammed the bar is. Was pleasantly surprised by all the in house made liquor and will be often stocking the gin and single malt. Go any day but Sunday and monday(Kayla’s days off). Truly can’t speak highly enough of her knowledge, skill, and attention to the small details of the cocktails she creates. Would poach her in a heart beat if I owned a bar.“
“The food is delicious. I had a bison burger and beef brisket sandwich. The fries are cooked perfectly. Not greasy. Not too crispy. Just right. If you check into Yelp, you get a free beer. Which I did, I got a Coirs light. Upsetting thing is if you don't ask for a paper receipt, they charge a kitchen inflation fee of 3% which they then tax on also. Upping your bill.“

“Beer is cheap, food is decent and service is great. You're always checked up on here. My scores are based on expectations for the genre. If you like bar food, this is bar food, well done. Drink selections are all you'd need. It can be loud and as far as I know, it gets very crowded and sometimes rowdy. But this is the type of place you go to for that sort of afternoon or night out. In the afternoon to evening hours, it's fairly quiet. Which I personally appreciate a bit more. Spent everything from happy hours with the coworkers to evenings of drinks on drinks. Great for both. And... HOW IS THE BILL ALWAYS SO CHEAP?! I applaud you, Rock Rest, for not capitalizing like the rest of Golden. Know your crowd and keep serving em! They'll keep coming.“

“This might be one of my favorite handheld burritos I have ever had. I had the Chupacabra, and although it was incredible, the Burro my wife got might have been even better. I found it odd they didn't have hot sauce out for usage, but I asked for some, and their kitchen-made Mango Dragon Ghost stuff was MAGICAL. They don't sell it yet, but they should. We will definitely be back to try some other options. Cool atmosphere to just hang out also. Definitely recommend...On the record. Best breakfast burrito I have had in Denver since moving here in 1997. Chupacabra is magic, the original and Diesel Drip hot sauces are awesome, they have a bar, they have great tunes, and the red onion add was worth a buck or two. I can't speak for lunch, but this is a must in CO for a breakfast burrito. I didn't take a picture of the burrito with tinfoil off because I was too excited to eat it. They also ask for your temp choice. The hot is incredible, but be ready for it. Definitely recommend and see you there (next time I am out in Golden).“
