“Place is super close to my house and I’ve passed it for years. Decided to give it a shot and had the Chicago Italian beef with spicy Giardanara. It was delicious. Super flavorful. Great priced. My only complaint was the fries were underdone and not too crispy but now that I know this place is here I’ll definitely come back and try the pizza and everything else.I’m sure the other food will boost my score to a 5The server was super friendly. “What a fun spot! Dinner, the Philly Cheesesteak, was excellent, as were the patrons and staff. Tuesday night was karaoke with Linda and everyone was all about it.I'm from California, out here for work. “I miss living in the south for one thing - the food. As good as colorado restaurants can be, most of the time the food is nothing you can't find somewhere else.This is the exception. “Beer is cheap, food is decent and service is great. You're always checked up on here. My scores are based on expectations for the genre. If you like bar food, this is bar food, well done. Drink selections are all you'd need. It can be loud and as far as I know, it gets very crowded and sometimes rowdy. But this is the type of place you go to for that sort of afternoon or night out. In the afternoon to evening hours, it's fairly quiet. Which I personally appreciate a bit more. Spent everything from happy hours with the coworkers to evenings of drinks on drinks. Great for both. And... HOW IS THE BILL ALWAYS SO CHEAP?! I applaud you, Rock Rest, for not capitalizing like the rest of Golden. Know your crowd and keep serving em! They'll keep coming.“

“What a phenomenal and unique experience we had at the Aspen Lodge! The atmosphere, music, service, and food all exceeded expectations. If you love Christmas, you have got to check this place out. Likewise, if metal music makes you smile, I'm sure you will get along great with the friendly and welcoming owner whom we had the pleasure of visiting with. He is also the chef, and we were delighted by the perfectly charred steak and melty cheese he served up in our philly cheesesteaks. There are a variety of more European foods in the menu a well. Our Gyro plate and appetizer were incredibly flavorful! Everything was served hot and delicious. The full bar offered more options than we were able to try, but the one Cocktail we ordered was just right.Bravo! A perfect experience.“

“We absolutely loved this place! The ambiance is relaxing and enjoyable. There's a pool table and game nook upstairs, and a gnome pond downstairs by the dart boards. The pulled pork nachos were decadently delicious, and the fried green tomatoes left us wanting nothing. The bartender became an instant friend, and we will be visiting again soon. Very biker friendly, which is nice.“

“This place was packed on a Friday night, yet we were seated immediately. They made their own French fries, which we couldn't stop eating. The food and service were good and prices were fair. We ate dinner for less than $40 without drinks. They also had live music! No wonder this place is popular. We will go back.“

The only complaint I have is, when I receive my bill, I was charged $2.50 per cup of ice water, not a bottle of water, ice water in a cup. They need to let people know they will be charged for that or, start selling bottled water! I was not happy when I saw the bill, that is just taking advantage of their customers!“

“The food is always great here and their drinks are good but it does take a while for your food to come out but it's always hot. They cater more to their regulars. If you don't go there that often, you really don't get that good of service, but they are nice when they come to your table. It will take longer for someone to come to your table to give you service. They really don't pay attention to you if you're not a regular. You will see the workers go to people that they know and do shots with them. All while ignoring your table. The atmosphere is good. I've never seen anyone fighting or causing issues.“
