“The only choices on this review are “do” or “do not” recommend this place… I’m somewhere in between! This place is great if you want to hang out with friends, play some pool and have a beer! I do NOT recommend the nachos! It’s like they dumped a bag of chips on a tray and sprinkled a handful of cheese and dry hamburger on top. They charge for a side of queso. $21 for the worst nachos we’ve had in our lives. The cheese curds were good. I’ve not tried anything else on the menu, but I probably won’t be back for the food. Definitely pool and drinks. It’s great for that!“

“The front range are very welcoming with travelers. They let you park over night if you spend a bit inside. We went, we really liked everything. The staff was very warm, the food was delicious and not expensive, we watch sport event. It was a perfect night.“

“I’ve been playing Volleyball for over 30 years and Friday Nights at Hopper’s is still my favorite place to play!!! The food is all very good, in fact, the wings are the best I have ever had in Colorado and might be the best I have had anywhere!!! Try the Carolina Jalapeño wings, the pulled pork sandwich, the french dip sandwich and the tochos!!! And come here to watch sports and play Volleyball on Friday nights!!!“

“The people who participated in karaoke were super enthusiastic and supportive of each other. I've been to many karaoke bars and have never seen as many creative people get up and do impromptu singing and dance numbers. There was no app to download to sign up to sing, which to me was preferable. Instead, the karaoke host and DJ was available and made it easy to request to be added to the list of singers. He sang well too - this is how we do it got a good sized group of revelers up and onto the dance floor. There are also pool tables and darts available. I highly recommend this tavern for anyone seeking a lively, unpretentious place to have a fun evening out in the Lakewood and Wheat Ridge area.“

“Chandler is great. Stop by and say hi to him at the Barrel Room. He’s knowledgeable as to recommending drinks. Very friendly staff and answers your questions if you need help. Stop by and say hi. Tell him I sent you. Becca, Chandler, Mark, Rachael, and the rest of the gang. They all make you feel welcome and treat you really like your family.“

“The wait staff is outstanding ( one of the reasons we always come back) . Drinks are good as well as the food . “We love this neighborhood spot! We've been most recently for coffee & breakfast and was able to jump on wifi, and get productive. I've had client meetings here, & we bring our kids for dinner. The seasonal cocktail menu is my jam, & the one thing we must order every time is the fried mushrooms!“

“Ryan was our server for this trip and let me tell you… if I could give him 100 stars I would. He was full of energy and so sweet. We had a little with us and he made sure to get his food going and out right away. I truly have never had a better server. He 100% deserves a raise. We will be asking for him every time we come now. WE LOVE YOU RYAN!!“

“Honestly a cool hidden gem we came across. Traveling out of town and glanced over a couple arcades in the front area but there is a secret room in the back with tons of games! Kid and family friendly. Good service. Recommend and will go back.“

Viv was our waitress and she really went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything. “A gal named Mersadies who works in the bar area has got to be one the best servers I have ever experienced, I go to watch ufc events and me and family or friends can be there for 2 to 3 hours and see first hand this girl is always on the move and keeps the beers and drinks fresh and right on time, I have come here for quite a while and Because of the great service and food Its my go to spot. Thanks to mercadies for making it such a great go to spot with consistantley awsome service !“

“Gabby was the best server I’ve ever had in my life. She remembered everyone’s orders without writing anything down, refilled drinks without us having to ask, checked on us frequently, was ADORABLE (cutest dimples ever), and I did not have to guess which receipts were mine! The food was also great, but Gabby was the best part of this experience!“
