The food was absolutely amazing, the best ! I highly recommend it! We went for dinner last night and met the owner, a fellow Canadian. Can’t wait to go back to try something else on the menu.
Fabulous meal. Great value. A new restaurant which has food with a twist. Highly recommended. Near to Intercontinental hotel and la Brasserie which is also great.
Amazing food, very nice ambiance and very helpful and friendly staff! The owner regularly comes by for a short chat, to see if everything is perfect. We would very much recommend this place and if you are into cheese, go for the cheese and tapas plate. It is amazing!

This would be great food anywhere in the world but to find here is unexpected to say the least. You could eat something different every day and not be disappointed (written with experience of working with Michelin star chefs for some years)..lovely people too!
We had intended to go to another restaurant, but unfortunately on that night they were only taking cash, so by fortune we stumbled on Vinegar and Oil. The food prepared by the young chef was truly exceptional, we had both Tapas and the Paella for two as a main. Every dish was superb, bursting with different flavours. Service from Putu was also first class. This was the best restaurant we visited in our month long stay in Bali for food and service
We found this gem of a restaurant by chance. It is fantastic and we were so impressed we went on two consecutive nights. The food was exceptional cooked by a young chef. Putu was an exceptional host and this place is a must....you will not be disappointed!
I walked into this new restaurant hoping to have some gelato during my stay in Jimbaran. I was fortunate enought to meet the chef and was absolutely blown away by his passion and attention to detail with both the space and the eclectic menu. Robert has gone above and beyond to create a concept that is unique and fantasically executed. The lamb burger is among the best sandwiches I have ever tasted, and certainly the best burger I am yet to taste in Bali. The quality of the meat in the restaurant is top notch, and the condiments offer a subtle fusion of the cultures from which they originate. If you are anywhere near the area, you need to try this restaurant. Robert and his staff will not disappoint. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this new gem and look forward to many more meals served by chef and his staff.
We chose oil&vinegar because of how modern an complex it was it stood out the next day me an my family where offered to cook our own meals have a few drinks with Robert (owner) which is such a top person I've never been greeted quite like it from a restaurant owner which I absolutely loved you can not knock this place and the staff where very helpful and delighted to be there recommend visiting oil&vinegar
I came here with my family for a holiday. We met chef Robert and his new restaurant “oil & vinegar” my younger brother wants to be a chef so he invited us into his kitchen to learn how to make pickles and other amazing items on the menu that we loved. I’ve been to Bali 5 times and I’ve never experienced food on this level. The staff are amazing and the kitchen is so clean and professional. Thank you chef for your hospitality and kindness. 5 stars all day long!!

This is an excellent restaurant, great dishes! Cozy and well thought ambience but most important: real locally thought and sustainable organic restaurant. A “must go” if you are in Bali!
Popped into this place to order a panini with chicken brie and avo. It was beautiful. The chef/owner was a cool guy and it was clear to see he was very passionate about providing a great customer experience. All food is top quality using local produce. The place has a cool relaxing vibe. I tried som me blue cheese reminded me a blue Auvergne cheese from the south of France it was rich and creamy and homemade focaccia was to die for drizzled in balsamic ❤️. Good luck with your new restaurant.
Coming from Australia to Bali and found this restaurant in the open at first, the food here knocks Australia’s food out of the park so many different flavours that are actually enjoyable and it’s all organic,too cool 110% recommend must visit! Check out the massive selection of craft beers and the amazing service.

As a ten year resident in Jimbaran I can safely say that this restaurant has massively elevated the local dining scene. The tapas selections are amazing (Tuna Tar-Tar & Duck Confit Spring Rolls are a favourite) and the the mains are consistently of a very high standard. Oil & Vinegar is a must try for any food lovers living in or visiting the Jimbaran area.
