Confusing if you’ve never been in there. Serve yourself on soft drinks and coffee but they bring orange juice. Friendly people seemed like everyone that worked there was happy to be there we enjoyed ourselves.
If you were lucky enough to grow up with a favorite local breakfast joint - this is your jam. Simple, delicious country cooking with a friendly, local atmosphere. Everyone is happy here because the staff is helpful and the food is always amazing. Try to sit at the bar so you can watch the cooks and all of the action! Ask for the homemade jelly!
Staff were lovely and welcoming. Coffee was great. Sadly, the food was extremely disappointing. The scrambled eggs were the best thing we had but the chicken fried steak was very grainy and chewy. I couldn’t eat more than two bites of it. Same with the potatoes. They were partially overcooked and crunchy, partially undercooked, and soaked in grease with no seasoning.
