“Such kind staff and what a beautiful renovated old house! Loved the creative menu and all the various rooms to eat in...or outside! Every bite was delicious and artistically presented. The manager was possibly the nicest person I have encountered in a restaurant in years (Trevor?). Thank you for a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!“
“Cozy and quiet. No wait when we went. Food was on the table in just a couple minutes after ordering. Crab was pretty quality and they had good seasoning. Very nice staff.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and it's pretty open inside. They have a good amount of tables.“
“A great Sunday morning brunch. We went after church and were able to get there before the morning rush. Food was good! I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Service was quick. I wish they would have had a kids menu but we just split an order of pancakes and fruit.“
“Great Restaurant! Everything is made in House. Including their condiments!! Their biscuits are so good!! They have a very kind staff & the food is very good! The Gumbo is excellent!! I would recommend everything on the menu. Great Beignets!! Great Service!! They only have Lunch/Brunch hours so make sure you show up early! Thankyou Lucile's!“
“Amazing experience and my favorite seafood restaurant. This review is long overdue and it's been a year since I visited - clearly this restaurant is still on my mind! The quality of the fish here is incredible, the staff was friendly and the drinks were good. We tried to walk-in without a res (big mistake) but made a reservation for the very next day. It was extremely busy but we never felt pressured to eat quickly. Definitely recommend the calamari. Jax will be my go-to spot whenever visiting Denver.“
“We were there for Mardi Gras, so much fun! TONY TERHAN AND THE BLUEKREWE were playing Great music. The food was also really good, red.beans and rice, crayfish etouffee and chicken gumbo! Hurricanes were very tasy!!Loved the whole evening. Packed crowd. Parking can be a little problematic.“
“The food here is simply incredible, we love coming here, you have to try the Mac and cheese! The bartender also tends to have quite the heavy hand!Parking: It is often difficult when they are busy to find parking as it fills up quickly.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu with great Mac and cheese that my kids love.“
“This place is amazing!! Madison was our server and she was super sweet! She gave us the best service, answered our questions, and just overall very helpful. We came an hour and a half before closing and nobody was rude once closing came. (Respectfully, we did not over stay our welcome). Food is absolutely fantastic, we got the all you can eat. My husband couldn’t stop talking about the wings we got for days. Definitely will be back!!“
“I visited Pappadeaux’s for my birthday lunch. Anthony was my server. He was super attentive, very nice, and friendly. I told him I was visiting Denver for the weekend and he recommended some pretty nice scenic spots. If management reads this, please thank him for me! He was very helpful and kind. Besides the great service, the food was great. I had the crab & artichoke dip & the gumbo/salad. Everything was delicious. I can definitely say my solo birthday lunch was enjoyable.“
“Well that was good. Shrimp Po' boy was very tasty. Jambalaya was excellent too. Jalapeno hush puppies were near perfect. Authentic NOLA style food in downtown. Service was real good. Tight spot and was busy, but no complaints. Will be back!“
“Our family tried the new all-you-can-eat menu option last night and it was outstanding. We had several rounds of tasty sushi rolls, sashimi, snow crab, and crawfish with sides of clam chowder and miso soup. Everything was nicely prepared & presented, and the quality was surprisingly great for AYCE.Service was attentive and the restaurant's decor is quite stunning. It's a great place for families and kids will enjoy all the colorful, whimsical sea-themed decor. There's even a large large banquet room in the back you can reserve for private parties. The best part was the price of only $33 per person -- it's a *really* great deal! Hurry while it lasts! So glad we live right around the corner... we'll definitely come back regularly to support a local neighborhood gem.“
“This place is a taste of Denver inner city life people from all walks of life frequent this small hole in the wall and for good reason, We Had The Bourbon Chicken, and The Barbecue, The Barbecue Was On Point Saucy, Smokey, And The Portions Were Huge, The Bourbon Chicken To Me Was Dry and Was More Smokey Than Flavorful, BUT The Potatoes Were Bussin LOL fried like one would do at home, the Mac & Cheese Was Cheesy Goodness, The Spicy Noodles Were Also a bit dry but the flavor was decent enough, If you ask for extra Bourbon Sauce Perhaps Would Elevate The Bourbon chicken lesson learned for next time the parking is almost non existent but us downtown inner city what do you expect the walk is part of the fun.“
“Unreal, underrated food truck. We had the fried green tomatoes and the catfish platter. The breading was super flavorful, the hush puppies were soft and had great texture, and the catfish tasted like it was caught today! Very juicy and not overcooked. The fries could be a tad crispier. My favorite part was the sauces! They don’t skimp on sauce amount or selection- they automatically include them on your plate. Wish other food trucks would take note!I can’t wait to have their food again. Kind staff who really vouched for their food/craft. 10 out of 10.“
“Our recent birthday dinner experience at Jax Seafood Restaurant was absolutely incredible. From the warm greeting by the friendly staff to the fantastic happy hour deals and impeccable seafood selection, every aspect of our evening exceeded expectations. The highlight was undoubtedly the chef's special dessert—a true masterpiece that showcased the team's skill and passion. Overall, Jax Seafood Restaurant provided stellar service and dining, making it highly recommended for a memorable experience. We can't wait to return! Thank You Chef!!“
“My fiancé and I saw a lot of reviews on IG and finally gave Yabby Hut a try. This place definitely lives up to the hype and everything we got was sooo good! The sample platter was fried to perfection and tasted great with included sauces. We got snow crab legs, shrimp, and a whole lobster. Lobster was super fresh, very juicy. I think the Yabby seasoning is the best I’ve had in CO!! Our server was really nice and attentive too. Wish we took pics but we absolutely destroyed everything on the table lol“
“Great spot for Cajun specialties. The Virgin Mary was quite tasty. Generous portions and strawberry rhubarb and orange marmalades available on the table. Friendly service. Free parking and restrooms available. The parking lot can be a little confusing, but just follow the signs.“
“I was there for a women's retreat for the first two days it was amazing. Love the hospitality that was given to us. The food was awesome, The service was wonderful. I didn't have to wait long, and it was nice and hot. Would I go back, yes.“
“Delicious oysters! You can order from the Pho restaurant as well, so I often get a seafood dinner with Vietnamese Iced Coffee for dessert, or I'll get oysters as an appetizer before having Pho for dinner.Parking: Always plenty of open, free parking.“
“I give Mattie 500 billion stars, cause every time I'm in Mattie's the crew make me feel like I'm part of the family. Mattie I really appreciate you and your crew I love y'all so much. I will always rock with Mattie.Love always your girlNissy SeneeThank you!!!!“
“The food is always good! But at least half time I go there I get attitude from the hostesses or the managers. The servers are great but the girls at the desk are horrible. Just left from there and the Asian girl at the desk had a stare off with me when I walked in like I wasn’t supposed to be there. Didn’t ask if I needed assistance. Had a full out attitude while giving me my take out order. Only reason I put up with this is bc they literally have the best seafood (to a Louisiana girl) here in Denver. The attitude has to stop.“
“Never a disappointment. Can't say it's the best seafood I've ever had, but it is really good for being in a landlocked state. The flavors are amazing. Service is always great. The sinks outside of the bathrooms they added are an awesome upgrade to the place after their expansion.“
“Found this out of the way place with Cajun Asian fusions or traditional. The fries topped with cream crab and crayfish were really good. I had perfectly cooked fish and hubby had fried rice loaded with shrimp. Restaurant staff attentive and pleasant.“
“See I went to a seafood restaurant and ordered wings ?. I have to say that this place had all types of seafood, I thought I was in the middle of the ocean with Sponge Bob and Squid-word. All the food was cooked to outstanding perfection, even the catfish and you usually don’t find them in the ocean.“
“First time eating the Crab House!! It won't be the last time!! I live close by and have wanted to stop here, but I never did. I wasn't feeling well today, so I decided to get an order delivered, and I was totally surprised and happy with my order. I ordered the shrimp basket. calamari and hush puppies and had more food than expected. The shrimp were so big and plenty that I could have shared it with someone. The calamari, too. I wasn't crazy about the pups, but they were ok. I'm definitely going back or ordering. The last few Dashers have been great.“
