This was the "cup" size and honestly I ate it in 4 spoonfuls. Generally underwhelmed with the lack of miso flavoring and chickpea quantity in the soup. “This place surprised me with one of the best bowls of pho I've had in this town, and I know the pho well. The soup was delicious, a good blend of flavorful ingredients that all stand out on their own, none too far out of balance. Very good meat. Been here a few times and the quality is consistent which I can't say for all restaurants. “We have been coming here for 8 years but our most recent visit was the first time we’ve had a bad experience. we came around 730pm on a Sunday so I’m not sure if that affected anything but the noodles were very overcooked, the meat was bland and barely grilled, and my shrimp had a chemical-ish taste (it was not expired seafood or anything and I didn't get sick, just unpleasant) I got a banh mi instead that was good (and the staff was very accommodating about switching it out) but when a place is solidly an excellent experience for many years, and when we drove well out of out way to go, it ended up being extra disappointing. We would compare every other Vietnamese place to this one as the standard. We know it has been run by the same folks for a long time and respect their ability to maintain such a great restaurant, so really want them to be aware of any issues in the kitchen so they can address them. We hope this was just a one time fluke.“

Had a buddy work there and had bad experiences with the managers. He was on the verge of being homeless and needed a few days to work things out and was fired immediately upon calling and telling (Andy the GM) his situation. Also said he didn’t give him a chance to at least consider just showing up to work so he wouldn’t lose his employment. The whole point of the job was to be able to pay rent that he owed at said place and that happens. Many employees have agreed that Andy doesn’t seem to care about his Workers. “Went here for a business dinner in a group of six and I was floored by the experience. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is truly exceptional. Our server even marked up a menu to highlight what I could safely eat with my food allergies, which I thought was above and beyond. “My first time visiting, and did this as a takeout, and I was a little unsure if the price of the tacos would be worth it. It was!!! The taco fillings were very generous and so much flavor! I had the chicken and a beef one. Both are great although I really liked the flavor of the chicken just a bit more. Also got the bulgogi kim bop. They were assembling it as I walked in, so I appreciate that they aren't just pre-made and sitting around. It was also very delicious and a generous size. It ended up being 3 meals for me.
