We had the "Lasagna ". It was awful, cold, tasteless, and the sauce was so minimal as to be non-existent. This is our third visit that was substandard. We will not return.

Our main courses and desserts were very good, along with very good service. The dumpling appetizer was a bit unusual and would not recommend it. It was more of a soup..........Overall, the meals were very nice!

Wow! This restaurant is so delightful. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chop. Best salmon I have ever had! We both ordered the house salad. It was so tasty that we ordered some of the dressing to take home. even though we were so full, we had to indulge in the pear puffed pastry for dessert. so glad we did, it was amazing. We loved our waitress, Jade, and will ask for her again. The chef Rand and his wife Tiffany were very communicative about the food and history of the restaurant. We will be back, we had a lovely time.

New ownership. Food was okay not quite as good as it has been in the past. Salmon was a bit dry. A little overcooked. Shrimp was just okay nothing too special. Muscles were good a bit on the spicy side. Still recommend, it's always been a staple in the area for good food and ambience.

It was to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We go the the “Bistro” to celebrate special events and to take “out of town” guests. Only once have we been disappointed with our meal ... as they were in transition of ownership and (I guess) they had new people in the kitchen. Last night, looked (and felt) like they have it all back together ... food was awesome, service impeccable, ambiance great ... especially that they've added a pianist. If you can ... when making reservations... request a table near the fireplace. Just adds a nice “finishing touch” to your evening ... far enough away from the bar & piano area to be able to enjoy the meal, the company, watch the “comings and goings”, w/o the need to speak louder than normal.

We love the Bistro! It's so nice to have a place to go for date nights and special occasions. My husband and I come here for birthdays, anniversaries and even a couple random nights out. Although it's a more upscale place, they are comfortable and not stuffy. The menu changes every so often, just enough to stay fresh. The wine selection is great and the cocktails are always so good (gotta save room for an espresso martini!). The food is always over the top good, and I feel the price is right for the quality of food and presentation. Staff is super friendly and attentive, they always make sure we have a great experience.

I hate to give this review of what used to be our favorite restaurant... but tonight was absolutely ridiculous. I understand that the bistro is under new ownership, and unfortunately they changed the things that used to make it great. Based on the overall ambiance of the place, you would expect to find hearty and classic dishes like a good steak with mashed potatoes or a simple but tasty fish dish, along with good and decently fast service. That is what the bistro used to be, and that is why we were loyal patrons. Unfortunately tonight we arrived for our reservation not realizing that everything had completely changed, including our favorite dishes on the menu. We were surprised to find a strange assortment of Asian fusion dishes and disappointed to see that our favorite item on the menu (the ribeye) had been done away with completely and our second favorite (the filet mignon) had been changed to a strange Greek style served with cucumbers and couscous. Imagine that you walked into an Asian-style restaurant and found out they served hamburgers... that's how it was walking into the bistro and finding an Asian fusion menu.... very strange. At that point we almost got up and left, but we were celebrating a birthday and already pretty hungry. We asked the very kind waitress if there was any way to get a filet cooked "the old way" instead of with the weird cucumber thing and she said she would ask the kitchen since apparently that is not an uncommon request and many people seem to have an issue with the new menu. They were able to accommodate, and we ordered.... And waited. And waited. And waited. For an hour and ten minutes. We got there at 5:35 for our reservation at 5:45, and we were basically the only people in the restaurant.... But we didn't get our food until 6:55. The waitress comped us one virgin mojito because "the kitchen was so backed up" - a nice gesture I suppose, but that's like $5 so not really that nice. After dinner, we made the absolute mistake of ordering dessert, which took another 45 minutes to arrive. The tiramisu was gross and super soggy and the crème brûlée was very very good. After that, it took another 30 minutes to get the $160 bill. I don't mind paying that for dinner, but when I do I expect things to be considerably better. The people seated around us were also talking about how they were disappointed by the menu and we saw one couple who hadn't been seated yet read it on their phones and then leave. We got there at 5:35pm on a Monday night and didn't leave until after 8pm. Paid $200 with tip for food that was tasty, but again... not on the menu.We won't be back until the new owners sell it to someone who knows how to run a restaurant.

Excellent food, cocktails and service! The relatively new owner/chef has done a great job updating the menu, while maintaining a link to what has made this our favorite Evergreen restaurant for the last decade plus.

Very disappointing experience. First time here was good. Went back for a second time with guests in town and wish we did not. Service was horrible. Our 2 course meal took almost 3 hours. After expressing our disappointment with the timing of our meal, we were told “Im sorry, BUT blah blah blah”. Zero professionalism or accountability. Our server said she would “ask for discounts”, and next to nothing was taken off the bill. The front room where we were sat was uncomfortably freezing—we dined in our winter coats. Skip.

The food...well, I don't think we've had better ! Kudos to the chef because eveything we've ever had there has been amazing ! We took my family from South Africa there to celebrate a birthday and they even had the piano player play Happy Birthday for my sister-in-law ! She was thrilled, and it was unobtrusive. The wait staff are extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Everything there is pure perfection ! Please go...you will not be disappointed !

We were in a cold corner by windows. Suggest portable heater and shawls that could be offered by servers. Ryan was our server and we all agree he was the best server we have had in ages.

The new menu is very good! I was glad to see it freshened up with new ideas and dishes. The lamb was A+ and the blue cheese on the tuna was surprisingly delicious.
