If you want to have Mediterranean food, don’t go here. The taste is completely off. If you want to go to a fast casual food with lots of veggies then this place is ok. Just don’t mistake it for a real Mediterranean place.

I do love the food at CAVA and have eaten there myself many times, however my experience today with trying to place a delivery order for 16 lunches for work was absolutely infuriating.
I had collected everyone's detailed orders in advance and wanted to place the delivery order the day before the meeting as I always do with other restaurants. I went to the Cava Fort Collins website to do that, but there was no way to schedule a delivery order for later. The web form said only ASAP delivery orders could be accepted. I called the store to inquire about it, and the person I spoke to who sounded like a manager said I should be able to schedule it up to two days ahead and told me people do it all the time, so I figured I must have missed something on the website. I went back to try again, but there was no way to do it. You could schedule in advance for pickup, but NOT for delivery.
So, during my meeting, I had to step out to enter the complex order which took about half an hour with a lot of "build-your-own" options using a clunky laptop offsite, then I put in my credit card info, and when I was about to hit submit, there was a message saying delivery orders over $200 could not be accepted and if it was over $200 the order had to be placed in the store! Our order was $325. Ridiculous!! At the very least, it should clearly state that on the website BEFORE you put in the time to enter your order. But even then, that is a lame policy! Guess they don't want our money,
I called the store to see if there was any way around that and was told that was a Door Dash thing (I was not on the Door Dash site, I was on the Cava site). I asked if I could place the order over the phone, and was told I could not. The only thing he could suggest was to re-do the order and split it into two orders, which of course would mean paying two delivery fees, not to mention all the additional time to enter it all again, so it would not have arrived in time.
Luckily our meeting was right next door to Crisp and Green, so we just went there. I will probably still go to Cava when it's just me, but never again will I try ordering delivery for a group. It was a completely frustrating, infuriating and stressful experience.

The food is great. Ihave once gotten Falafel that was in the under-done side, but that’s my only complaint, and i can be very picky. The roasted vegetables have good flavor and crunch. Sauces are good. Lots to like.
If eating in , be prepared to wait in line for 20 minutes, more or less, even if it doesn’t seem super crowded. When I was there today, they had 4 people on takeaway orders and only two on the in store line. Decision paralysis can be an issue. They could probably speed this up by having a menu that’s visible while you’re in line.
The staff are generally very nice, but it can be hard to get a bowl that isn’t overloaded with the rice and/or lentils unless you skip them entirely. I’ve asked for “easy on the rice”, and gotten 2 heaping scoops. I’ve tried “just a half scoop of rice” and received anywhere between one full scoop to two scoops. The rice is good, but I don’t need a pile of it when I’m also getting greens.
Vegetarian options: Meals are made to order. You can leave off meat selections.

I absolutely love this place! I was looking for a healthier food choice closer to the meals I prepare for myself. So glad I went here, now I return minimally 2-3 days a week. The service is always great, food is always good and the portion sizes are nice. I normally eat my bowl in 2 sittings. I also love their fresh drinks and the pita bread. Should give them a try if you’re vegan or living a healthy lifestyle.

I have been to CAVA locations in Texas and Colorado. Always had positive experiences. Always had amazing food. And have always received the kindest warmest customer service you could ask for. Admittedly, CAVA was my comfort food after I lost my dog, and the person who served me was beyond kind. That was in Texas and he told me about the locations opening in Colorado. Today I made a mistake when placing a pick up order and when I called to see if they could put my food in a warmer, Brooke without hesitation, simply offered to remake my food. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough if for nothing else than the wonderful employees that work there. But the food is also a winner. :)
