I’ve been coming in for quite some time and I’ve never felt the need to write a review and I usually don’t for awful service but I was compelled to write this review for immaculate service I received from Kat in my opinion the best kava tender in the place she is always so friendly always on top of everything and brings a smile to everyone’s face also Summer is a absolute blessing to be around whatever they are paying them pay more!!!!!

Today, four Palestinian journalists were killed by Israel. It is notable that they were Palestinian because Israel blatantly refuses to allow the outside world to observe their conduct in Gaza. This is the context under which we walked in to find the Israeli flag displayed here, but the Israeli government’s conduct was unacceptable a long time before today. Display your flag more openly so people know to leave sooner.

Lively place but not too intimidating which is nice. The bartender was super friendly and was willing to explain how a man like who who likes coffee with their creamer could get a good drink (it was super good)

I wanted to try some kava and it was a pleasant experience. I don’t drink alcohol or use cannabis, but was looking for something to relax me during the stressful holiday season. I got to pay with Bitcoin which I do like to support companies that accept it.

I’ve had the unfortunate displeasure of accidentally sitting near the owner/manager during my last few visits the last couple of months, and the interactions are so unpleasant, I really have no choice but to stop going to this place. It’s hard to watch the way he talks down to/patronizes his employees and patrons, often making a point to single out people he doesn’t know well (who are usually there alone) for attention. I’m always treated with respect by the customers and employees, but the owner couldn’t be more opposite, brimming with insecurities that come through his obnoxiousness and vocal expression of alt-right ideologies. There’s plenty of other kava/kratom businesses around town with a much safer atmosphere. Save yourself the time and money and pass on this one.

Ever since they put up a giant Israeli flag and started airing the, "We support our local police" crap on their monitors all the cool people stopped showing up. They must be trying to attract 40 year olds.

This place is the best vibe. Everyone in the bar, both customers and staff, are incredible people. Jen, Zae, Tess, and the other staff are always so attentive and friendly!! I just wish that the owner would fix the issues with their internet/sound system - the music can get jumpy and laggy, which is literally my only complaint. It puts unnecessary stress on the staff and kills the vibe.
