Have eaten here for years. Used to be our favorite now everything had been bland and unseasoned for the past year will NOT go back. Fried rice isn’t suppose to be stark white in color!!! The miso is also under flavored now like how do you mess this up so bad to being the worst Asian food from the best

Always good! Curry is fantastic! It's really a great place for lunch.

Parking: Finding a parking spot in old town is treacherous at best.

Lulu's used to be one of my favorites. I would order every week when I got paid as a treat for myself because of their AWESOME lunch deal. I'm not sure what's going on with them lately. For the past two weeks i've tried to order on a delivery app like normal, and 2 or 3 drivers will get assigned and then try to pick up the food before they cancel it. And this comes after waiting over an hour thinking my food is on its way. I'm actually really frustrated! If you can't do delivery- don't be available on the delivery apps. The food is consistantly good every time- just wish they would get it together.

The batter on the sweet and sour chicken was still raw and the sweet and sour sauce tastes like corn syrup with a bunch of red 40. The pad Thai is okay. I felt like I wasted my money

Certainly, here’s a draft for your review:

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Lulu’s Asian Bistro. My family and I sat down, ordered our drinks, and were ready to enjoy our meal. My niece, who has a medical condition and cannot eat large portions, tried to order a child’s meal, as she typically cannot finish an adult-sized portion. We noticed there was no age restriction listed on the kids’ menu, so we assumed this would be no problem.

When we tried to place the order, the server told us they don’t allow adults to order from the kids’ menu, even after we explained the reason. I then went up to the counter and asked to speak to the manager, but instead, an employee came over and said the manager would not allow an adult to order from the kids’ menu, as they don’t want people “paying child prices for an adult meal.”

I clarified that we weren’t trying to save money but simply wanted a smaller portion due to my niece’s medical condition. Yet, the employee insisted that they would not make an exception. I even requested to place a kids’ order to go instead, but she refused, claiming that she “knew it was feeding an adult.”

This experience was not only disappointing but also left a bad taste in our mouths due to the lack of understanding and basic customer service. The dismissive attitude and unwillingness to accommodate a simple request, especially given a medical necessity, were very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who expects compassion and good service.

Probably the best chinese food in town. I do like the food there but I don’t like how they treat us. The waiter/waitress are not very friendly two years ago. Hope they have improved.

Star Anise Overload: When a Little Spice Goes a Long, LONG Way

I’ve tried several dishes at this restaurant, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that they are VERY generous with their Star anise… perhaps too generous. One dish I ordered came with no less than a dozen Star anise pieces, making it inedible. I asked for the hottest preparation, but it seems they mistook Star anise for the spice I was looking for. Newsflash: Star anise is not a spice to turn up the heat—just one (maybe two) is enough to get the job done. Unfortunately, this place serves it up like it’s salt. If you love this licorice-y powerhouse of a spice, this is your spot! If not… well, tread carefully. The food might be good, but it’s hard to tell when it’s drowning in Star anise.

The place smells like sewage, the workers don't speak English, and you wait an hour on simple food.

Its been a couple years since I've been here since I'm now in atlanta, but i still think about their mapo tofu to this day, atleast once a month. I'll be honest too, it was the first time I've ever had it, but every mapo tofu I've had since has been a disappointment. Nothing I've had has been nearly as tingly, and now, i have to pull myself up by my bootstraps to try and make it myself at home. Because now i know what I'm missing in life.
