Repeat attempts have resulted in less than ideal experiences. Host staff is generally almost put-off by guest arrival. I kind of expect someone to be happy about me showing up to drop $100 on tomatoes and pasta. Bar staff kinda needs to cut the chit chat especially when they have a full house. If tickets are poppin no reason to be talkin. Chef, why on earth would you try to smoke pasta sauce? This is Italian food and I get you're trying to put a Colorado spin on it but let's stick to the basics just a bit. Pasta should not be served watery either, this is not Fazzolis. The upside is that wait staff, although overwhelmed by the slowness of the bar, does seem to at least try and almost always delivers. Everyone has off nights but of 6 attempts so far only 1 was something worth going back for.

We found this place a month ago and have literally eaten there every week. We do lunch, so the portions are more manageable. They have multiple vegetarian options which is a treat. Try it! I bet you'll like it! 1/3/24 Per the sign on the door, this restaurant is closed. Pauly, good luck with your next job!

We had a wonderful dinner! As a gluten-free person this is so nice to have so many wonderful choices. My son and husband are not gluten free and they very much enjoyed their meals too.
The spicy red sauce was way too salty. The replacement dish took forever to come, and was out of proportion with too many noodles, too little of the undercooked sauce. It was a very poor effort overall. Nice waitress, tho.
It was a perfect experience except for the obnoxiously loud 18 people seated at the next table. In my opinion, Marchitelli's is far and away the best Italian restaurant in Fort Collins. No competition.
It was okay. Service was slow, thought they might have forgotten about us in the corner at some point. 3 of us ordered the "special" but there was only enough for 1 of us to have it. Food was okay. It is expensive.
We started off the evening by going to Carrabba's, what a huge mistake. Waited 40 minutes with no line. The tables were all dirty with no staff. After we finally got a table I told my date this place is disgusting, let's leave. I told the waitress on the way out were going to Marchitelli's. My date was hesitant (she had never been to Marchitelli's) but her whole night and mine changed after we arrived at Marchitelli's. Seated right away, excellent staff, excellent service, excellent general manager and by far the best Italian restaurant in Fort Collins CO. I've been there twice, and just the awesome atmosphere, the friendly staff and not phony people that work there.I will never ever go back to Carrabba's again. The place is way overpriced, overrated, outdated and in my opinion is the worst restaurant in Fort Collins CO. When you dine in at Marchitelli's you get an awesome experience. My favorite restaurant and been wanting to put this well deserved review in for 2 months. I don't put in reviews like this one if the establishment is not top notch. Marchitelli's is!

We really enjoyed our entrees and the service was great. The chicken marsala was cooked perfectly and the traditional lasagna was not only a great portion but also very flavorful. I would recommend this for a date night.
Marchitelli's was great! I had the house salad with gorgonzola crumbles and the balsamic dressing on the side. My wife had the ceaser, which was excellent, although over dressed. Next time, dresing on the side. I had the Oso Bucco, with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Very good. My wife had Nico's hot sausage with linguini , which wasn't too spicy for her. The portions were large, I could only eat half of the Oso Bucco and my wife was only able to get through about 1/4 of the pasta. We brought the leftovers home and will likely get two meals each out of the leftovers. The service was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. This may be our new favorite restaurant.

I have eaten at Marchitelli's several times since moving to Fort Collins a year ago, and we love going there! The food is great, and we are always treated well. There seem to be coupons in the local newspaper on Sundays that provide a buy-one/get-one-free deal, and that makes the cost of the meal incredibly reasonable. Marchitelli's has a variety of Italian dishes, and each one I have had has been delicious! I highly recommend Marchitelli's to those in the Fort Collins area who love good Italian food!
My wife really enjoys their eggplant parmesan, and I love the grilled sausage which is usually listed on other Italian menu's as sausage and peppers. Their grilled onions and peppers that go with this dish are done perfectly. The sausage is from a family enterprise in Crested Butte, CO. I highly recommend it.
I love the food. The Italian cake was quite dry and old tasting. The take-out orders should be checked before leaving. Every time I have eaten here, the waitstaff is not very attentive. They have an upscale feel & recommend reservations, but then some of the staff dress trashy & have face piercings.

Love this place. They also have a restaurant in Crested Butte, that we had dinner at and met the owner, Mike. Lunch was very reasonable and included salad and bread. Dinner was enough for two meals. Would definitely recommend.

Lunch is a great value, particularly if you have one of their coupons from Valpak. The lunch menu variety rivals most restaurants' dinner menu, but the prices are very reasonable (considering inflation). Paulie is a very attentive server, even during busy times. I think dinner is a bit more expensive, so go for the lunch, or happy hour (when many apps are half price).
