Something has changed, in an amazing way!! Casbah has always been a top slice in FoCo since I was a teen. Today? Oh-ho-ho!! Working late, order 2 pies for the office. What showed up was not just very hot and fresh, but 2 of the best pizzas I've ever had. The dough... crispy, chewy, toothsome. Just spectacular. Toppings, spice, generous and fragrant fresh basil, all on point. Casbah has significantly upped it's game since my last order. Looking forward to more!

Went back here after 20
+ years away. It's definitely grown a little, but the pizza is just as good, if not better, than when it first opened. I'd say best place in town for NY style action.

A dinasour business.

I grew up in FoCo. This place used to be... awe, mazing.

But times have changed. I'm not sure what exactly transpired behind the original owner, the recipe, and or the business. But I can tell you this much.

It's not the same, it's a fraction of the ghosts that have left it. It's run by college kids as it always has, but now it charges astronomical prices for a fraction of the quality it used to give.

It used to taste absolutely delicious. Now, you never know what you're going to get. Could you get a rubbery pizza, a burnt pizza, a soft pizza, a stiff pizza, more marinara, too little marinara, a confusing amount, someone else's pizza entirely?

It's a joke. They haven't spent a dime in renovations, updating their kitchen, or creating any sort of reputable idea of what Casbah pizza represents.

No, it's the same design, same old pizzas, moldy smelling, stale environment it's always been. It worked when I was a kid, but to see it in a run down status after 30 years?? THAT'S Absolutely insane.

And to charge the prices they do? Why? A couple of dollars worth of ingredients to give you $25 + in cost? When did our city become so greedy?

The food quality has gone down the drain. It's still one of my favorite pizza's in town, but that's not saying much. Pizza in FoCo is probably the worst in most of the i-25 cities.

you think a smart business pizza owner would create a pizza shop worthy of foco and make more money then they could imagine. But no one stands up to the challenge. Same as Tacos.

Unfortunately I'll continue to order from here as it's one of the few better pizza locations (until I learn a better recipe) but, from when I was a kid, this pizza is seriously over-rated now..

Cheers Pizza Casbah, you've lost touch.

Actually such trash pizza. Everything just slide off the dough, and it wasn’t cooked all the way through. Didn’t even order anything crazy and yet it couldn’t be done. Genuinely turned into a soup when I opened the box. Just disappointing. The gentleman at the counter was a chiller but the pizza sucked

This little place was amazing. The staff was so patient with us, even gave us an extra piece by accident. The pizza was really good and just the right amount of toppings. Loved the atmosphere and was for a great price. Well definitely come back again ... 9/10 recommend

Pizza Casbah is the best pizza place in Fort Collins. Not only do they have the best pies (and knots and desserts), they have the best atmosphere to hang out and enjoy some good food.

Drew working the front was great and everyone else was super friendly.

Don’t listen to the haters. Casbah is King!

*update* despite writing “my husband” in my original review, the owner decided to insult me and continue to berate me. I know exactly what it takes to run a small business. I worked closely to an owner of a business in the heart of old town (not a random side street near an empty restaurant) for 10 years and we never struggled to keep clean. It doesn’t take much to sweep and mop, so if you’re trying your best I’d hate to see your worst. I’m not ashamed of myself, you should be embarrassed to have mouse poop on the floor. A normal human and SUCCESSFUL business owner wouldn’t respond like a 12 year old with hurt feelings. You are riding on the coat tales of a food network episode that aired over a decade ago (and not for quality of the food but for an eating challenge). Get your employees, or yourself, out in your lobby with a rag and wipe something down! The ceiling is black, there are spider webs everywhere, do better. You should be ashamed by the state of your business and instead of responding like a child to reviews go clean your restaurant. I made sure my report to the health department wasn’t anonymous, so hopefully when they show up you can know exactly who sent them. I’m going to continue to call out places that have MOUSE FECES ON THE GROUND AND MOLD IN THE VENTS, you can continue to ignore and put a mural on the wall like that’s doing something. Have the day you deserve.

I went yesterday with my husband and three kids. We were so excited, it had been a while since we have visited Fort Collins. The service was not bad, but the lobby and kitchen (from what I could see) is disgusting! The vent looks like it was growing mold, there was mouse poop to the right of the soda machine, the entire place was covered in a layer of dust and cobwebs. The kitchen ceiling was caked in grease, just absolutely disgusting. We can go back to a place that has obvious mouse droppings. My husband took photos and it looks like the owner is trying to dispute the literal evidence. Embarrassing. If you’ve just done a “lobby refresh” you should definitely rethink your definition of “refresh”.

Best pizza in Fort Collins, hands down. The food is mind blowing, quick and delicious. The service is nothing short of excellent. DJ helped me with my order, understood my exhaustion, and was patient with assistance.

Definitely a big recommendation for any out-of-towner looking to get fed and experience true fort collins hospitality as well.

I've been coming to Pizza Casbah since the 90's. I'm so glad it's still there. The atmosphere and pizza are top notch. You can not find a better east coast style slice anywhere around here!

Fort Collins’ Fallen Cheesy Empire
Pizza Casbah… Fort Collins’ very own greasy time capsule from 2009 — back when getting a Casbah slice at 2 AM was a spiritual experience and not a gastrointestinal gamble.

Remember when Casbah was the spot after hitting Old Town or getting kicked out of Road 34? Now it feels more like a punishment. You don’t “go” to Pizza Casbah anymore — you end up there.

Let’s be real — that crust isn’t doughy. It’s raw ambition with no follow-through. You take one bite and it’s like chewing on a memory foam mattress soaked in bong water.

How about that crust? — doughy doesn’t even begin to describe it.— including this slice. It’s so underbaked, it’s still in therapy for abandonment issues.

Toppings slide off like they’re trying to escape. Even faster than a freshman dropping out after syllabus week. Mushrooms, pepperoni, even the cheese joined a union and now refuses to work overtime. That whole pizza’s more disorganized than a freshman’s planner
.
And the staff? A rotating door of CSU students who clearly just woke up from a nap in the kitchen. Half of them are high enough to mistake marinara for hand sanitizer. You walk in and they look at you like you just asked them to solve a physics equation using mozzarella. They move slower than Larimer County road construction. One guy took my order while FaceTiming his ex — still more engaged than the cook in the back who was probably dabbing with a spatula.

Honestly, Casbah is like your college ex — used to be fun, always there late at night, and now it’s kind of embarrassing to admit you ever loved it. But every now and then, nostalgia tricks you into going back… and like always, regret is served hot, with a doughy crust.

Good luck!

This place has really gone downhill. Walking into the store you are greeted with an extremely dirty dining area that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There is dust everywhere and mouse poop on the ground. I can't believe this place is allowed to operate with these conditions. The food was OK but i was hesitant to eat it after seeing where the food came from. I can't believe they let this place fall into such disrepair - what happened??

I noticed this business used AI and someone who just died, to promote their business, they proceeded to call me “weird” for pointing this out. Also the least quality pizza place in Fort Collins in general.
