Food is good, authentic Mexican. Not Tex-Mex and not Cancun-Mexican. We love this place. Probably our favorite Mexican in FoCo. Margaritas are ALWAYS on point! My only two complaints are the oft-slower service and the old, odd decor. Not really a Mexican restaurant vibe. Don't let that weigh too much, though. This place brings the flavor. The rellanos is top notch! Give it a try and you'll likely use this place as your new standard on which to judge Mexican food in FoCo.

Tried their tamales, chile relleno, chimichanga, and quesadilla. Highly recommend the chimichangas and chile relleno! The quesadilla chicken was a little unevenly cooked. Overall it’s a great spot.
