Have been here to eat several times. Consistently wonderful!! Rio Grande has become one of our favorites for excellent Mexican food. Their Chilli Rellenos, either lightly fried or baked is amazing. Chips and salsa are excellent. Service is excellent. They have a nice patio for the warmer months.
The food here is good. But I find the food to not be authentic Mexican food. The flour tortillas are quite strange. The restaurant's decor is definitely not authentic. For me, I would rather find and eat at a Mexican restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food.
Wednesday night date night is usually at The Rio! We can always expect great service but tonight was exceptional. JACOB was amazing and was so quick to anticipate our needs and accommodate us - 2 salsas, extra napkins, frequent check-backs… top notch service without us having to ask.
