Every time I’ve been here it’s been pretty much solely in the year 2025. I was reading some old reviews and was surprised at how negative some of them were by calling it non-inclusive. That may have been true at one point so I won’t discredit those statements and I am a cisgender white man, but I’ve generally been in the minority every time I am there. Fun and welcoming space! Drag shows here are super fun!
It’s hard to find a third place as a queer person. You constantly feel like you stick out and have to blend in. R Bar brings out the opposite. The moment I walk in I feel my insecurities melt away. The staff, the atmosphere strive to bring community for all. Can’t wait until my next trip in.
