It is a great local brewery with good bear and a relaxed vibe. They love our dogs and we love folks that love dogs!
This place is frickin cool and the food was surprisingly DELICIOUS! They have some toys for the kids too and the lady working there was so nice, she made us feel so comfortable to be there. We were just stopping in for lunch after visiting the dinosaur museum.
Excellent vibes great people good beer. They also have live music some nights there was music setting up on Saturday night when we were there however, our travel plans put us on the road before we could partake in any festivities.

Fruita Tavern is a great place with a friendly, laid back, and excellent atmosphere. It is a wonderful place to hang out and have some beers or mocktails, with a good selection on tap including various sours, not just IPAs. The outdoor patio is phenomenal. The menu is small-ish but the food is fantastic and killer, with generous portions. Specific items include a fantastic hamburger, chimi churri steak bowl, nachos, pretzel bites with citrus honey mustard, and tacos from food trucks. It is totally dog and kid friendly. The staff is excellent, friendly, fun, kind, and reliable. They host local community events and fun activities like Monday night trivia. It is highly recommended for locals or anyone passing through, a place where you can easily become a regular.
