“Munchies Pizza and Deli Smokey mountain burger + fries and a drink. Don't bother me, I'm reviewing a cheeseburger. First thing I noticed was the patty. Misshapen, un round, clearly made by hand, and im here for it. Beef by itself, 👌 seasoned just right. The bun was soft and savory. I'm not a fan of thin bacon but for proportional reasons it fit well and was cooked right. The burger itself was delicious. The mushrooms were juicy and complimented the bacon and cheese. Just enough grease to drip on the napkin. Not a messy burger considering the size. The fries were a good addition and I washed it down with Dew refills. The restaurant was busy as it could be around 5 but the service was quick and positive and the food was definitely worth finding a spot to park and a place to sit. Tvs, plenty of seating, and very clean. 10/10 will visit again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

“Went deer hunting in the Bookcliffs north of Fruita and went into town to grab some supplies and found the Strayhorn. The food was good and the service was good as well. I went for dinner one night and had Katie the bartender wait on us and she was awesome. I then had to return for breakfast on our way out of town and had Anastasia wait on us and the breakfast was awesome as well. Being a Maitre D in Lake Tahoe for over 20 years, it's nice to go to a new place and have good food and a well established wait staff that servers the customers the way they should be served. I will be going back on my next trip through Fruita. The Strayhorn definitely put the WTF (welcome to Fruita) in Fruita. Thanks, Sizzle“

“I’ve been eating here for the last year and I can’t say enough how incredible Jeff, Trent and the rest of the staff are! After trying everything on the list twice, I must say that this place is hands down the best breakfast, brunch and lunch spot in town!!!“

“Wow!!! Just wow!!! So glad we chose this restaurant. We came in towards the late side and never felt rushed. Such a welcoming team! The suggestions from our waiter were spot on. My boyfriend grills an amazing steak but this one with its amazing homemade chimichurri sauce, was and I quote “The best restaurant steak we’ve ever had!” Not enough can be said for the scrumptious homemade dessert that we finished up with. “It was just a pit stopped but the food was definitely fulfilling. The service was good. This restaurant is run by chinese. The fried rice was really tasty. The Singapore noodle as well. Just 1 advice, please do not put so much onion in the fried rice, not everyone appreciates it. There were white and raw red onion and green onion. Lol.
Bean sprouts is not necessary as well. The noodle needs more wok hei and lesser oil. Locals should frequent this place more often!“

“Truly hope Boston's isn't going downhill. I am a regular there and things have not been looking great. Drink ingredients have changed to cheaper options that taste worse. There are constantly children in the bar and that adds to the fabric cushions being incredibly dirty and the windows covered in fingerprints and food. Please have families sit on the FAMILY side! The bar side should be 18+! The lights have been flickering lately, yet I was told they haven't even scheduled someone to come look at it. I really hope the owners are not spending all their time at their other restaurants and forgetting about Boston's.“

She had the most positive and welcoming energy during our entire evening and truly cares about delivering above-and-beyond service.
