Just a fun place, delicious wine- great urban feel.
Food is prepackaged (gnocchi) and watery sauce- and the pizza is served on a tasteless cracker and they forgot about it until we mentioned it. Wines were good and the service was fine but need a serious upgrade on food for the cost. Place looks nice but I went to the bathroom and listened to the kitchen staff curse the entire time. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere.
I love the ambience! Food was great, service was excellent, and I highly recommend it. I’m not usually a fan of Chardonnay, but I really enjoyed it. Thanks for a fantastic time!

Deep Roots Winery is an absolute gem hidden in the outskirts of Golden. The staff, including the two owners, are super friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable. The wines are delicious and varied, with the 2020 Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wine as highlights. The wine selection is incredible, featuring less common varietals such as Viognier and Gewurztraminer. The winery also offers alcoholic slushy drinks and periodically has a food truck. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and some even produce the wine. With a small outdoor area and a beautiful indoor space, Deep Roots Winery is an excellent change of pace from the typical Denver beer scene. Prices are super reasonable, and the happy hour specials are great. Customers can enjoy wine flights to sample a few options, and the pours are generous.
