This place is incredibly authentic.Our hostess, who may have been the owner, was lovely and made sure we enjoyed the food. She was very attentive and fun to talk with.We will definitely be frequenting El Asadero.“
“This place is great. Admittedly, the first time we ate there it was due to one of my daughters having a bathroom emergency. They were so kind and so friendly that we decided to get food. The ice cream was so creamy and delicious that this became a stopping point for us on our evening walks downtown. Like I said, the hospitable and friendly staff are what keeps us coming, but their unique variety of fun flavors is also a huge plus. We have yet to try the pizza attached to this Ice Cream place, but want to. You will definitely see us again.... and again. Keep up the great work!“
“Let me preface...i RARELY REVIEW (have to really impress me to review)..My family come here enough to be recognized by the owners. These 2 are awesome to say the least! They're so hospitable. Now to the food.. OMG! they deliver on what is missing in GJ, authentic Mexican treats! I guarantee you WILL NOT find a better Elote Vaso, Fresas con Crema or Birria Tacos. They hit the nail on the head. I gotta keep my visits minimal because I'm not playing a game of chicken with my stretchy pants!“
