My husband and I went yesterday for our 16 year anniversary. I was given a very generous gift certificate for Christmas and we wanted to finally use it. What a delightful experience!! The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress and everyone we encountered were all so friendly. We are long time locals and definitely would recommend this restaurant, especially for date nights.
If I could give them a million stars I would! I love eating at The Rapids. There is truly nothing better. We have been coming for years. The food is top notch, the service is superb, the location is incredible. This is a place you must visit!
We didn't stay at this lodge, but we did eat dinner at the on-site Rapids Restaurant while camping and visiting Grand Lake. This restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! They seated us for lunch outside on the patio area, which was right next to the roaring Rapids! The tables were so cute, and there was even a table with a gazebo to ear as well. It was so refreshing sitting there next to the water. If you are in front of the restaurant, you would never know that special restaurant...
