Sat by the fireplace, and had a heart to heart with my 16 year old daughter. A rare moment for me. They had board games, the best 2 hrs ever. Beer was nice, so weere the ribs and tuna.

5 years ago TK didn't allow dogs inside. Now they have a dedicated menu and they are so dog friendly. Great food and beers. Highly recommend. Staff was all friendly as well

Good food and beer. Never been disappointed. Place has some history to it. It's worth to check out when you are in Idaho Springs. Flights of beer are really good. Ive been here a few times and it's better that Bou Joes down the street. If passing through Idaho Springs going west to the mountains or coming east to Denver... I suggest you make a stop! You won't regret it. Good luck!!

We always enjoy stopping at Tommyknockers on our way through Idaho Springs after a day of skiing or hiking! Excellent service, great beer and food! On this last stop, we found out how dog-friendly Tommyknockers is-- they have dog beds for your dog to curl up on, a separate dog menu and brought out water for him as well. Can't say enough good things!

Amazing food and beer! I had a burger and my wife had the nachos, both were phenomenal. Burger cooked medium rare as requested, nachos were also amazing. Ask for a side of salsa with the nachos, it is delicious!!

My daughter, who is very picky, wanted to go to Tommyknocker for lunch one day...so we went because she never wants to go anywhere to eat!Despite a mix-up on her food, it was a really nice visit. The manager, Jeff, came straight to our table as soon as he realized he made an error on her dish and we didn't even have to ask to get it remade. It was their mac and cheese and it was absolutely scrumptious!Also, Tami was an excellent server.They welcome dogs, even providing dog beds for them to lie on underneath the table while the humans eat?

Nice restaurant/brewery. We got the stuffed potato with brisket and that had to be the worst brisket I have ever eaten. It tasted like dried meat covered in sauce. Also we wanted sour cream on the potato since that's normally what is included but we were charged extra for this which we found odd. The bacon wrapped peppers were very good, the red chili was good as well, the green not so much, it didn't seem to have a lot of pork in it so it reminded me of salsa. They had live music which was nice.

Was a great pit stop at a quaint historical town on the way back from Shredding the snow. Had the chili and lamb appetizer. Both were good.
I-70 traffic snags was our good luck in finding this place.Great beer! Most times, bar brewed beer disappoints. Not here.Great vibe, tunes, service, food, beer... what more do you ya want?Time and again, enjoyed the food and service. Think it's our 3rd or 4th time. Idaho Springs is a cute town with lots of cool shops, too.
