The quality of food has really gone down hill at this location. The burritos are very poorly made and I can't say much about the employees either. Raising the prices is one thing but the quality going down at the same time is unacceptable. Raising the prices and making smaller portions is not the way to do it.

I witnessed the female employee dip the thermometer in one of the meats, I believe it was the chicken or the steak. She wiped it off with a napkin and then moved onto checking the temp of the lettuce. She went from item to item barely wiping each with a non sanitized, dry, napkin. It appeared to be just a regular Chipotle napkin or paper towel. It was dry as the desert. She forgot completely to wipe it a couple of times when going from one item to another. I completely lost my appetite.
I'm very weary eating this burrito now that I know my food has had cross contamination and traces of other food that I do not like.
Isn't this a health code violation? You really need to make sure you are training your employees properly and abiding by health code regulations. Do you not have proper sanitizing wipes to properly use? The employee barely spoke English so I'm not sure if she is aware of our higher emphasis on health food safety in this country and that we don't appreciate possible food poisoning.
Please look into this before you make everyone sick or cause a severe allergic reaction from one of your PAYING customers.

UPDATE 10/10/24 This is now my favorite chipotle in Denver metro area. Updated from 4 to 5 stars. New staff, new chefs, and they are all great. Huge portions. Huge thumbs up. Not sure how the mid-day meals are but the evening staff is ???
This chipotle recently got a new chef staff and they are a lot better, really good. They’re skimping on portions a bit but not bad. The employees are pleasant, but it’s off colfax so the clientele can be a little dicey. I’d recommend taking it to go. Overall, it’s in my top 5 Chipotle’s in Denver. 9/2/24

Completely wrong bowl, name and everything was correct on the pick up bag that they handed me. Basically, no pico, no corn, no green salsa, no guac, and hot salsa which I didn’t even order and it doesn’t sit well with my stomach so I couldn’t even eat it. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else.

The emplyoee were polite but wanted me to buy before the restroom I'm like no but lucky my backpack saved it before hitting the floor messy messy and 550 for extra steak not good and that was 51 bucks of chipotle thanks chipotle for my slop you served

zero stars! I placed an online catering order two weeks prior for my mother’s funeral. On the day of the funeral, no food showed up. I called and was told that door dash cancelled the order and that an email was sent. I have searched my email. I never received an email. I call today, June 2 and was told by a different person that the chipoltle system was down and all catering orders were cancelled. So, not only was I lied to, no one reached out by phone to at the very least, let us know. I was also told there was nothing they could do to help. No compassion what’s so ever. I will NEVER eat at chipoltle again. Brothers BBQ however, came through for us last minute to feed 30 people. Super angry. Super bad terrible customer service. If I could use bad language on here, I would!!!!!!!!!!!
