Yes they are EXPENSIVE but they are also MASSIVE and as I rarely have doughnuts, it's far more quality than price point personally.“

“First and foremost, I cannot express how appreciative I was for the customer service I received. Not only was the food amazing (croissant with egg and sausage, plus a glazed doughnut) but the customer service was amazing. You see, I thought I had left behind my wallet and when I called to see if my wallet was there, the manager (I'm assuming he was the manager since he had access to the security camera) advised he would look at the camera and would wait for me to return to the store. Upon my arrival, he quickly showed me the videos and explained the recording process. He then asked for my name and number in case the wallet was found. Well, I did find my wallet it was in my car between the seats but the mere fact he went out of his way to show me was just a true action of a business owner who cares for his customers.
This was my first time shopping here but I will make sure that every time I am in the area, I stop by to buy some doughnuts. Thank you for the amazing customer service.“

The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the donuts are consistently fresh and pillowy. If you haven’t tried their apple fritters or bear claws, you’re missing out—they are huge and perfectly glazed. It’s my go-to spot on Colfax for a quick morning treat and a solid cup of coffee. My Dad used to bring me to Winchell's after delivering the Denver Post on Sunday morning's. Sweet memories and sweet donuts. But now I can dunk in my coffee.. “I always have great service when here, the staff is amazing. the packaging not so much. when we buy individual glazed we are fine. decided to buy a voodoo dozen for the kids. there was one liner in the whole box. so the grape ape seemed to melt and spread over everything. I trashed half a box I purchased for over$30 because no one would eat them. I was going to drive back out there with the box but it's just out of the way“

“Best hidden gem, the owner is so welcoming! We went 10:30a on a Sunday and donuts were still fresh and we had a good selection to pick from. We ordered half a dozen including a fritter and two coffees for about $12. The coffee was really good and I am a coffee snob! Go here for a local authentic feel, great quality! I would totally drive 15 minutes again for this place!“
