Chicken in sauce was delicious as was the rice and beans. Very filling, wholesome cuban food.
Loved everything we had especially the family vibe they give. Attentive. Food was good!! Loved their green sauce and I think I had like 6 of them. I wish we tried some dessert - next time.
If you're looking for authentic Cuban food, this is your spot in Denver! It was delicious. We had chicken, pork, and a Cuban sandwich and they all tasted amazing!
An excellent taste of the Caribbean 🌴
This was just like eating at a family/friends house from when we lived in Miami and ate Cuban food regularly. 10/10 very authentic and very nice staff.
I'm a Cuban that grew up in Miami. This is the most authentic Cuban food in the Denver metro area and honestly it's not even close.

Ordered the nachos, croquettes, chicken fricassee, and ropa vieja - all were very delicious and flavorful! Can’t wait to come back ☺️

I’ve been to El Bohio twice, and as someone born in Cuba and raised in Miami, I can confidently say this is not authentic Cuban food. Don’t be misled by the reviews—this place is mid-grade at best.
The staff is friendly, but the food doesn’t meet the standard. My go-to spot is Cuba Bakery and Café in Aurora, which offers a far better and more authentic experience.
The other issue is the pricing. The food here is expensive for what you’re getting, and frankly, I can cook better Cuban food at home. It’s hard to justify paying high prices when the quality isn’t there.
It seems like they’re cutting corners in how they prepare meals, and it shows in the flavor. Also, the staff isn’t Cuban—when I walked in with a strong Cuban accent, they asked me where I was from. 🙄

2nd time here with my hubby. Empanadas are delicious and the cubano is super filling. The green sauce and red salsa to die for. The owners are friendly and provide great service. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!

Owners were so polite! I post this review as an honest review with no intended malice.
The food was not what the reviews say. We order the fried pork and pork + black rice. Onions weren’t cooked well and made the watery pork a bit bitter. Black rice was missing something. Just can’t put a taste. Side included tostones (those were good) and two soft drinks.
Total bill was just at $50. Crazy!

First time having Cuban food. The Cuban sandwich was THE best sandwich I’ve ever had period! So delicious, tangy, meaty, cheesy. We’ve been back multiple times. Also tried the roasted pork with rice and sweet plantains-delicious! The owners are very sweet and take good care of their customers.
