Great addition to the Wheatridge neighborhood! We went during restaurant week and got to sample a variety of their dishes. The staff and service were wonderful and the cocktails refreshing. The chocolate on the top of the carrot cake was an interesting twist! And the passion fruit cake was delicious.
Our server Bella was amazing! Really nice and attentive. All servers were very attentive and kind actually. The food tasted amazing, only downside are the portion sizes. The pasteis/empanadas and coixinhas were a good size, but the feijoada was very small (you get more rice than feijoada) and it is almost all beans with no meat. The chimichurri beef with fries is actually just a small skewer (which was $16). The drinks were pretty good too, but lots of ice. Recommend the caipirinhas...
My husband and I love this place. It's a great little neighborhood spot. Caipirinhas are very good (even the NA versions!), and every dish I've had here has been really flavorful. I'm partial to the stroganoff and anything with the picanha steak. We also always start off with multiple orders of the cheese bread. For dessert, the brigadeiros are always a welcome treat. And the servers are always so friendly!
