While my family has been customers of Tamales Moreno for years and I CRAVE these tamales my most previous experience wasn’t the best. My boyfriend and I bought $50 worth of food. We got 1/2 dozen red, 1/2 dozen green tamales within that order and when we got home the red tamales were not cooked all the way. The masa was runny, super soft, sticky and mushy. Tamales Moreno is a popular spot known for its delicious tamales and breakfast burritos. Customers appreciate the fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. The green tamales are a favorite, while the red ones received mixed reviews. The spicy green chili adds a flavorful kick. The family combo, including a dozen tamales, three burritos, three tacos, and tostadas, was a hit. The food is worth it, with beans, chili, and everything else on point. Service is quick and friendly, with nice and helpful staff. Parking is available in a few spots by the building and across the street. The tamales are delicious and big with plenty of meat filling.
