Had the biscuit with egg, sausage and cheese. The biscuit was hard on bottom and sausage was pretty dried up. Maybe if you go earlier in day it might be better, I went around noon.
Solid breakfast spot. Well above average for the area. The space is nice, but like a coffee shop. Not really meant for a sit down breakfast, but the food is consistently good at a good price.

Seth,
Thank you, for bringing this southern cuisine to Colorado. Love it! I enjoyed the goldsboro biscuit. I'll definitely be returning soon.

This place is great! I went here for the first time this morning and was very pleased. Speedy service, friendly staff, and best of all, great food and coffee!! I got the biscuit of the day (beer) with cheese, egg, sausage and whiskey-peach (I think) jam and a cold brew. It was sooo good!

Wow. So disappointed.
Out of the cinnamon biscuit my wife wanted
She got the honey biscuit - plus 65 cents for honey, and it was a tiny cup with barely enough honey to cover the bottom! Maybe five drops.
I got the ham biscuit, and the ham was one layer so thin you could see through it. We’ve been to Sloans Lake location over the years and we’re never disappointed - but this experience “left a LOT to be desired. Quite disappointed.

Rise and shine is the best! I’m so glad they put one in my Lakewood area! I have loved everything I’ve had from both locations.

Hidden gem in Lakewood for breakfast/lunch. Fresh made biscuits daily. They always have buttermilk and a rotating biscuit of the day with great sandwich options 😋 solid coffee as well
Service was Great! the Cashier was super friendly and helpful!!! However the gravy is super bland!!!! Has 0 spices!!!! i spent 20 dollars on 4 biscuits and the gravy is super mid!! the Gravy needs Paprika, Cayenne, Salt, pepper, and some celery salt.

We just had biscuits and coffee here. I would recommend another place such as Village Roaster just up the street. The biscuits sandwiches were decent but were kind of cold. The coffee was delicious. I ordered sausage gravy and got a container of less than 4 ounces and was charged $3.75. Also, our order was served in paper wrapping and the utensils were very flimsy plastic. Plates and proper silverware would have been much better.

Best biscuits west of the Mississippi, and would easily compete with the best biscuit anywhere. The service is incredible, and the atmosphere has a wonderful vibe.
