I fell in love with the asada tacos, they are top notch. The service was great hardly any waiting time. I was a bit worried if it was good my first time there but I've been back 2 nights in a row only to be saddened to learn they do not to stay open late on Sunday's. I was so looking foward to it. But I'll be back on monday to get my fix
The chili cheese fries had a lot of grease or oil. Tasted good but I feel like they did now drain the fries from the oil.
The potatoes had a lot of oil, they were delicious but they didn't seem to remove the oil from the potatoes.

If you’re hungry and driving down South Sheridan and you see the Taco Bell, pull right in. Then go through to the back for some of the best Birria Tacos you’ve had at El Palenque. Owner and staff lovely and accomodating. Support your locals. Screw the chains. This is the real deal 10/10 ~✅??✅
