Very disappointing pizza. Ordered the Founder's Pie and it tasted like a frozen pizza. Cheap ingredients make for a bad pizza. I'm never going back to Rock Wood.

Food was fine, but way too expensive. $20+ should get you a full size pizza, not a mini pizza. Asked for pepperoni and pineapple, and barely got two pieces of pineapple per slice. Too much tomato sauce as well. Needs more cheese.

You must get the brown sugar mozz pizza. Soooo good it changed my life. I went back to this restaurant just to order that again. And everything else is good too.

We visited The Rock in Belmar twice in one weekend and both times were shockingly bad. The level of poor service and outright rudeness, especially from management, is unacceptable. First night: We sat at the tables directly next to the bar. The bartender immediately refused to serve us, saying those seats “aren’t serviced.” When I asked if we could just order drinks/food from her, she flatly said no. We were literally two feet from the bar. Completely ridiculous policy and terrible execution. I called the next day to speak with a manager about it. He was short and dismissive, promised to call me back, and never did. The following evening we tried again. We waited 15 minutes for the host to seat us. At 10:25 she finally came over and said “sorry, last call is 10:30” and refused to seat us. Ten minutes early? Come on. I called again to complain. The manager answered with “WHAT’S UP IOSH” in a super rude, sarcastic tone and made a point of saying he recognized my number. Today he finally called me back and was extremely contentious — basically yelling and challenging me to “come down” in a weird, aggressive way. Between the nonsensical “no service” tables, turning away customers minutes before last call, and a manager who is defensive and hostile instead of professional, this place is a hard pass. We won’t be back and I’d strongly recommend everyone else skip it too. There are way better options in Belmar.

I have come to the bar here for so many years as I grew up in the area, but moved out of state 3 years ago. Came back while visiting family and planned to frequent the Rock, had a great experience with the blonde bartender, but the following 2 nights was met with people who legitimately didn’t want to work or be helpful. I called to give some feedback and was met with a bit of a sarcastic/confrontational tone from the manager and have decided that buckets are now a thing of my past. Won’t be returning.

There pizza is out of this world good. So many choices and for me spot on for there crust,crispy and you can actually taste the toppings. Service was excellent as well!

This pizza tasted like home — warm, comforting, and absolutely mouthwatering. The thin, crunchy crust gave it the perfect texture, making every bite even more satisfying. I was able to enjoy all the flavors in my mouth, from the rich sauce to the perfectly melted cheese and fresh toppings. Everything blended together so well that each slice felt fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was great and made the experience even better. Definitely the kind of pizza that keeps you coming back for more.
