We traveled from Rocky Ford to see if the new owners were an improvement. I ordered the $20 Chicken fried steak and it was the size of a 1/4 hamburger covered in batter. It came with non home made mashed potatoes and canned peas and corn. The salad bar still had remnants from the lunch crowd spillage. If you want to know what a chicken fried steak is supposed to be try Boss Hogs in LaJunta or the Tamarack in Fowler. Both are 3X as big and cheaper.
place is garbage! bad hygiene, nothing is clean. employees on the phone and highly disrespectful to customers. truckers stay away, you'll thank me
Start with quality food. Had the fish buffet today and it was disgusting. The only thing worth eating was the mashed potatoes.
Then, friendlier staff. This place used to ha e some of the best waitresses and hostesses around - not anymore.
And last but not least, do some renovations, The entire place is dirty, gross, and beyond outdated.
Don't worry, I won't be back.
