Have eaten here in the past and wasn’t overly impressed. Ordered DoorDash tonight and it was amazing. My ribeye was cooked perfectly the potatoes were delicious and the wedge salad I got was very fresh. The fresh blue cheese that came with the wedge salad was a nice touch. Very impressed this evening, thanks for a delicious meal after a long day.
Please do not wear a sweatshirt to serve food in a nice restaurant. It is sloppy and not professional.Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. It was a Monday and they were out of filets, but the ribeyes were terrific.Malbec Wine was very nicely paired with beef.Lose the baseball hats. This is supposed to be fine dining. We were so happy to see a good restaurant in Lamar! I liked the Max Chophouse name having grown up in Lamar and its reference to the Maxwell House where we went out to eat as a child. Now if you'll bear with me - I would like to see the dining room be a little more intimate - it felt like we were too spread out.
