Maria is by far the best bartender and waitress! Such a beauty and always has the best customer service. The steak is always made to perfection, and I melt in the mashed potatoes every time I eat them. LOVE, love, love The Max Chophouse. 10/10 recommend every time I've traveled to Lamar.

Couldn’t find how to even get into the place!!! Service was awful and it took so long to get our food even though it wasn’t that busy and the prices!!!! My goodness it was $8 for 2 bacon wrapped asparagus and the greens that came with the salad were wilted and tasted like dirt.?
I'll let you know more about it whenever I get there other than that.It's getting a one star because of the prices already not enough food for $30 and up.I think I'll put Ezra's whole arm on the grill Then it might be thirty dollars

Service was super slow for being dead on a Monday when we walked in. Went for my daughter's birthday an was so disappointed we didn't bother ordering dessert. My daughter said her roll taste freezer burnt and the mashed potatoes had way too much pepper .Don't waste your time or money on this place
