We rolled through on an afternoon drive through the countryside. I enjoyed the fried chicken dinner. Everything was top notch. Great service, delicious food and attentive service. The guy next to us was telling dad jokes to his kids. That makes everything a 6 star!
Vern's is an institution. Can you even say you've been to Northern Colorado if you haven't eaten at Vern's? There isn't a bad thing on the menu. It's definitely a local's favorite. The views are excellent. The patio is a great place tomorrow hang after coming off the Poudre. Here are my favorite dishes.
