We recently moved to Leadville and are so happy we found this gem! The atmosphere, views and local Meade are a great way to end a day. We met friendly locals who are now becoming friends. It’s that’s kind of place. Highly recommend.
What an amazing vibe and view this place has!

The scenery, including clouds and the lake, adds to the peaceful experience. The owner, a former forest firefighter and river guide, is passionate and caring, creating a welcoming environment and personally overseeing the food and playlist. Visitors have met friendly locals and often feel at home. Whether stopping for a quick drink or spending the day enjoying the views, Ale Yak is a must-visit spot that combines good food, excellent beer, and a warm community spirit.
