Great restaurant with home made food and excellent service. It's a great place for a romantic dinner. Or maybe just a fun night out.

Massive portion of seafood Fra Diavolo and lobster ravioli with shrimp. Great NYC style restaurant with classic well prepared Italian food. Getting to know Bob was a not to be missed experience.

What great place! Friendly, homey feel with excellent food. The service is perfectly provided by the waiter, Dominic, who treats everyone like they're friends. And the owner/chef even came out to say hello. We introduced our Italian friend from the east coast to Angelina's and he said the food was the real deal.

Angelina's never disappoints. Reminds us every time of the experiences we have had in restaurants in France....where you can be known, remembered and welcomed even after a long absence. We've known Angelina's for only a bit over six months but have been treated like family ever since our first visit. Bob, owner and chef, is amazing and full of stories, and Dominick and Chandra complete an awesome team. We live in Boulder but visit regularly.

The hospitality is absolutely amazing. Bob, Shandra and Dominic were the greatest. I felt like family walking in. The wine and food were positively outstanding

WOW! We tried this place on a whim because one of our favorite restaurants had a long wait and we were starving. They are reservation only, so I'm glad I called before. When we walked in, the staff were so welcoming and amazing. We ordered Prosecco, the baked ziti, and fettuccine Alfredo. All of the dishes were amazing. I was actually shocked- I normally hate fettuccine Alfredo or any white sauce for that matter. And I LOVED that dish. I actually begged my boyfriend to trade dishes with me; (the baked ziti was great, I was just amazed at how much I loved a dish I normally despise). The sauce was very authentic (made with pasta water, cheese, lemon, etc..) so you may not like it if you are into the synthetic stuff. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert. IT WAS AMAZING! We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner and chef, Bob. Although it was our first time in, he was chatting with us like he had known us for decades. This is a new favorite spot of mine, I can't wait to go back!

What a hidden gem! Nestled in the same shopping area as Big Lots! and Chipotle, it can easily be overlooked. But even in its concealed location, its loyal following has helped it survive for 30 years. The 80 year old owner/chef is an ex-homicide cop from New York City. He came from a large family with Italian on his mother's side and Greek on his father's. The meals he experienced growing up were incredible which is why he opened his restaurant to share them with others. Bob's artistry extends beyond his kitchen as seen in the restaurant's wall mural he hand-painted. (We learned all this when we talked to him. When he takes a break from cooking he makes a point to visit each table to check on how you're enjoying the experience. His passion for what he does is evident in every detail of the place.) The restaurant is intimate. Long and narrow, it is elegantly appointed with white table cloths and cloth napkins. The tables are set with glasses for wine and if you order some with your meal, expect the pour to be generous. The first time I visit Italian restaurants my go-to meal is lasagna. My wife had the stuffed shells. Before the meals arrived our server, Dominic, brought out a plate of garlic bread. My wife is a very good cook and very picky with food. When she took the first bite of the bread the garlic made her react with a pleased "mmmm." It was tasty. Dominic also adds to the experience. Because the place is small, he's the only server. He's attentive, pleasant, funny at times, and always willing to please. We arrived early at the restaurant on a Thursday and were the only ones seated. As the place filled with diners, Dominic kept a steady pace making sure everyone was treated like the only patrons in the place. Every Italian restaurant makes its lasagna differently and Bob's was no exception. What made it exceptionally different is I could actually taste the quality of the ingredients. The meat used in it was substantially better than any I've had at other places and if it's possible to taste the chef's love of cooking, I tasted that too. We purposely ate only half of our meal so we could enjoy it again for dinner the next day. Because we had room, we ordered desserts. I had the profiteroles and my wife got the tiramisu. My dessert was light and heavenly. My wife offered me a bite of hers and I resisted because tiramisu is also different from place to place. And most times it's a soggy collection of lady fingers soaked in other ingredients. But I tried it, just in case it was a good kind of different. It was! It had a solid texture to it that made it delicious and something I'd possibly order on a future visit. TIPS: All in all this place is wonderful, but because it's small, I'd recommend reservations if you're not visiting at 5pm on a Thursday. And keep in mind that the prices reflect the assumption you're paying cash. If you use a credit card there is a service charge added to offset what Bob has to pay the credit card companies for accepting cards.

This place reminded me of the little "hole in the wall" Italian places I used to eat in growing up in the Philly/Jersey area. It was absolutely incredible and we will definitely be back!

Authentic Italian food and so delicious made by an authentic Italian Chef who served our country and police force. Thank you. I've never enjoyed such a meal. The service was spectacular.

What a gem! The food was amazing and the service was excellent! It was our first time there, but it definitely won't be our last! Bob, the owner and chef, visited our table a number of times and was so enchanting! Such great conversation and he made everyone in our party feel very welcome. Such a wonderful place!

We had the best time! Celebrated my husband's birthday with our 3 kids. Bob and Dominick are amazing! They're running sh!$, and making you feel like it was Sunday family dinner. We've lived in CO for 3.5 years now, and have finally found the real deal east coast Italian! Some of the best veal I've ever had. All the pasta is so fresh and homemade. Really a hidden gem. Will definitely be going back for a good time and great food. Thanks guys!
