Great catering options. All around great BBQ. FYI this is just a storefront/catering kitchen. If you want to"dine-in" you can sit next door at the brewery and they'll bring the food over. Try the Ruben - it's one of the best we've ever had.

Had some smoked wings while visiting the brewery next door. The wings were pretty good. I like them just a bit more meaty but they were not small. Fast service

Very tasty barbecue for a reasonable price (by today's standards) tucked into a really great brewpub. My wife and I very much enjoy going to Locavore Beer Works and sitting on the patio with our dogs when the weather is pleasant, maybe 2-3 times a year. We've ordered lunch or an early supper from Brad's Pit three or four times, and quite enjoyed the food. While I wouldn't make a special trip just for the BBQ, it's very easy to wander in and order their food while enjoying a pint in the sunshine.

Located adjacent a craft brewery, order at the entrance with no inside seating. The person taking the orders was literally clueless and extremely slow. It took him several minutes for an order of two people in front of me. When placing my order, I decided on the two meat, brisket and sausage sandwich. I requested the point end of the brisket less lean, and he was clueless as to what I was requesting. He'd never heard of a brisket point. I ask if they served scratch sides, and he replied no. The sandwich arrived with a two ounce container of cold sauce being overly sweet, likely store-bought and added too. The spicy sausage is literally a store-bought prepackaged andouille which absolutely does not go with barbecue. The brisket was flavorless and dry, cut into chunks rather than sliced, this literally resembled a pot roast, most likely baked. I heard the owner had lived in Conroe Texas but no way is he from Texas. I would not recommend this place, considering the food, absolutely pathetic. This is a harsh review, but so was the food. 1 star for their friendliness.

The positives: The food was served hot and fairly quickly. The brisket was decent, not the best, not the worst I've had.Negatives: The appetizer menu looks like the frozen section of Restaurant Depot. Nothing seemed unique, or made in house. Just frozen, then fried with rub on it. If I had to guess, the sauce was KC Masterpiece, or a close knock off brand, definitely didn't taste made from scratch.Overall: Some small menu changes/scratch made items would be welcome, and I think could bring this rating up significantly. Smoke is clean on the meats.

My husband brought this food home for dinner. It was ok. It wouldn't be fair to not disclose that 1) it was takeout and it took awhile to drive home so it wasn't hot and fresh, which likely impacted my experience and 2) BBQ is not my first choice when grabbing dinner, I usually go for the sides at BBQ places, which I did not get to try. That said, I would like to go back and give it one more shot.

Good BBQ. We tried the baby back ribs, brisket, with fries & creamy Cole slaw. Nice selection of sauces. I

The food truck was at a housing event I went to. I ordered the platter with brisket and potato salad. The potato salad was really good and wasn't too mayonnaise-y like some are. The brisket had great flavor and was tender especially with the side of sweet bbq sauce. There was a decent amount of fat on the brisket though which was a little disappointing. Overall good!

I found their food truck at Coal Mine & Pierce (next to Liquor Mart). The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were great. Tender and flavorful, with generous portions for the price. The crew running the truck was everything you could hope for, quick and friendly, but having a good time as well. Caleb (I think) was especially knowledgeable in pairing sauces with meats and sides.I wish the brick and mortar location at Platte Canyon and Bowles was open later. I have been twice only to find them closed.
