My daughter and I were turned away for not having a reservation because they are “booked solid”. Their website has over a dozen open reservations tonight. Not a family friendly restaurant.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Sushi was good. Not outstanding. My roll was poorly constructed. Service was disorganized and not attentive. Won't rush back

10/10 no notes.
I celebrated my birthday here tonight and I could not have asked for a better omakase dinner. The presentation elevated the experience and the food was some of the best I've had in the state.

One of the best sushi places in Colorado! If you’re in little area and don’t want to drive into denver - #1 choice. Came here for lunch the fish was flavorful and fresh.

Big fan of Maki, The staff are super friendly, the Omakase is to die for, all around just a phenomenal restaurant. I’m from Los Angeles and I never expected a Denver Omakase to be my favorite Omakase.

Good cocktails. Basic rolls had absolutely no flavor. Nice ambiance. Friendly staff. If you are looking for very fresh, clean, and simple bite, this could be your place.

My wife and I come here regularly and Dustin and Max are hands down the best servers! They’re super friendly, attentive, and make the whole dining experience so enjoyable. The sushi here is also really good—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Highly recommend

Restaurant is on the smaller side, so good idea to get a reservation. I came in on a Thursday night at 7:15 and it was full. Excellent omakase with a wide variety of nigiri and some other dishes. Pork belly buns were also a tasty treat. The service is very good, though the pacing of the omakase was a bit slow. I will certainly be returning again soon.

My husband and I tried Makizushico for the first time last week and loved everything we ordered. We eat sushi frequently but this is definitely at the top of our list now! We definitely will come back to try the omakase. We ordered the jalapeño bluefin tuna appetizer and the sashimi was melt in your mouth. We also ordered the Totoro roll and another special roll (something with mango and tempura shrimp) which were both very good, we ended up ordering another Totoro roll. We also ate the mackerel, wagyu and chu toro nigiri which were all delicious, then finished off the meal with chu toro sashimi! The chu toro was our favorite but everything was great.
