Recently went to Outback because it had been a few years and we used to go all the time. Service was great, so friendly and the restaurant was clean, not really busy for a Sunday evening. We sat down right away and ordered the bloomin onion and it came out piping hot and was delicious. Next were the salads, they were good. Then we got our entrees. Steaks had good flavor, although my husband's was a little tough. My kids shared the hot wings, which is normally their favorite food, but one of them wouldn't even eat them so I tried them and they were terrible, rubbery and chewy. The sides were also terrible. I had asparagus which had a weird flavor, not fresh and my husband had broccoli and it tasted weird too, like bland and maybe frozen a long time. Needless to say, we won't be going back anytime soon, especially with the comparable restaurants nearby that might even be less expensive!

We sat at our table for over 20 mins without being helped. Other waiters helped tables around us (who arrived after us). We asked the hostess if anyone was going to help us. He got the manager for us; the manager apologized and offered a free appetizer which we declined. I guess the only thing to offer was a free appetizer and there was no other way to make up for the bad service. Food was good. Terrible service.

This might have been the worst experience I have ever had. The waiter was nice but not very good at his job. The house salad dressing tasted nice it had dish soap mixed in with it. The blooming onion was small and so salty we couldn't eat it. My wife's steak was 30% grisl and the waiter was more interested in telling us about him self then asking us if we needed anything.

So expensive for what it was!! The price has substantially increased as with everything, but $5.00 for a soda and $40 for a mediocre steak is just too much. The bread used to be so good, now it was cold and didn't have any flavor.
