Great potential, wasted! Nice neighborhood location with a very good menu and beer selection. Quality of pizza is excellent on a good day and mediocre on other days. Service, however, is pretty consistently poor. Example: Walked in and asked wait time for a pizza and was told 20-25 minutes. Ordered a beer and a combo pizza with double cheese to go. Waited over an hour! They did offer a free beer while waiting, due to delay. When pizza was ready they said pizza was only single cheese, and offered to remake. I declined as we were way past dinner time. Got home to find a plain single cheese pizza, not a combo single cheese. Very boring pizza. I called to complain and was credited 100%, but why go back for another experience like this. Have been going to Robert’s for years, but no longer. We are tired of patronizing a restaurant that utilizes inexperienced staff. When will ownership wake up and realize they need at least some professional staff.

I love this spot for a quick lunch where I can bring my laptop to do some work, too. The staff is always cheerful and the vibe is solid. I got the caprese salad and garlic knots the other day and loved every bite! The meatball sub was great when I had it and I’m looking forward to trying the Reuben!

Second time going to the deli portion or Robert’s! Their italian sub is delightful, the staff is really nice, and their selection of drinks and other deli items is awesome!
Also always look forward to getting their pizza from their restaurant side every friday!!!

Had a great supreme like pizza! We swapped the green peppers for green Chiles, it was delicious!
One of our favorite local places. These guys know how to do things. People are friendly, the food is fabulous and with the new dining room opening this will have the perfect atmosphere for whatever you like. Sports bar or quiet casual dining. Best of all its a locally owned small business. You can even find the owner there. Definitely a go to place for us. One very unique thing for an Italian restaurant is their stellar tap list. Not just the standards you can get everywhere but unique rotating craft beers are also available. My favorite olace is at the bar. You will never have a bad experience. Great staff, friendly, talkative if you want, ultra accommodating. You can't go wrong with this local little secret.
Great place, good service and consistently good food quality.
Good pizza, beer and cannolis
I took a seat at the bar to get a beer and order something for dinner. Waited for well over 5 minutes, two servers saw me, never acknowledged me, never came around. The place wasn’t even busy. I finally gave up and left. I won’t be back.

Don’t dine here. It’s so bad. My husband and I were in for lunch and I have never walked out of a place more frustrated in my life. Believe the reviews that have said this place has gone completely downhill. After going here for years I can confidently say I will never be back. In the past few months there have been too many bad experiences related to service and food quality that if I typed them out, this review would be paragraphs long.
Walter’s Pizza is amazing, and I know Angie’s is down the street so we plan to try that out instead moving forward.
Such a bummer :/

Pizzas have become inconsistent, often soggy, and the “greek” salad mostly bagged lettuce.
edit: Last visit was a dry Italian beef sandwich
and we just stopped going there.

Great people make a great restaurant
Honestly, I’m not sure what happened to this place. I lived in this area 20 years ago and used to love Roberts. The pizza was true New York style. Now, the crust is mediocre and the pizza relatively bland. They loaded a bunch of mozzarella on it, which would be fine, except for the fact that it didn’t melt all the way, and it was not browned at all on top. I found the pepperoni to be fairly flavorless as well. They have clearly changed their recipes, and not for the better. The service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere pleasant. Unfortunately, that is not enough to bring me back for mediocre pizza.
