“Tea St has RUINED other boba for me. I tried going to GongCha when they were closed on Tuesday (sob) but it tasted like watered down syrup with an essence of tea.Friendly staff, great place to get some work done, and the entire wintermelon section has my heart. My wife and I are still mourning the loss of our precious herbal wintermelon, but nothng will keep me away from Tea St.Their choux puffs are very good too.UPDATE:Tried the "infamous" taro milk tea and as a milk tea hater™️ I LOVED IT. My one and only favorite milk tea. Also they hooked me up with the herbal wintermelon again and my wife is estatic.“

“I found this gem while shopping around nearby. I got their Thai milk tea and Tiramisu milk tea. Their hand-made boba are made fresh and chewy, you can really taste the difference compared to other stores. Definitely worth it! You can even see them make the boba in front of you. Not only did they let me adjust the sweetness and ice level, I was also able to select what kind of milk I wanted!! The owner was friendly even giving me some tea samples, saying their organic tea leaves comes from Taiwan. The fresh tea auroma and the perfectly handcrafted boba, definitely can't go wrong with their boba drinks as the tea comes from Boba's origin of Taiwan. The relaxing atmosphere and friendly staffs, really made my day. Highly recommend it and will definately be back again.“

“A staple of the Denver Asian food scene. Lao Wang's is a true hidden(?) gem. Yes, they have rules, but they're pretty reasonable - especially when you consider that the restaurant is often staffed by just Mrs. Wang herself. It's a small establishment, and the rules are there to keep her workload manageable and her tables moving. Order once, pay once, pretty simple. Personally, Mrs. Wang has been lovely to us. She did want us to order fast and pay fast, but the meal is so good and the service is fast and friendly, so there's really nothing to complain about for me.It's as authentic a Taiwanese dining experience as you can ask for, with all that entails.Know what you want ahead of time, bring an empty stomach, respect the rules, and you'll walk away incredibly satisfied. Best soup dumplings in Denver! The potstickers are also wonderful. We come at least once a year and are happy to do so.Parking: Parking lot is tight but often has spots“

“I’ve been a fan since Ma Ma opened up the first establishment back in Boulder. I’d recommend asking for the Scallion Pancake and recommend the Za Joang Mian, though honestly everything on the menu is great. Treat yourself with some homemade dumplings too.Great spot for dates, warm meals on snowy days, or general Chinese comfort food.Kid-friendliness: If your kids are adventurous, the food is great. It doesn’t have a kids menu or anything of that sort.“

“Edit 1/6/24: Drove out here again and door was locked during "open" hours. No one picked up the phone either. Highly recommend calling first to check if anyone answers, otherwise it's likely that renovations are still ongoing.Just a quick review post to notify everyone that they're temporarily closed for renovations through January 5. Will reopen on the 6th. Drove all the way out there on December 30 only to find it closed for updates.“
