Nordstrom Grill

we went to nordstrom grill for
lunch. we were seated right away. karen was our server and so nice. we had the delicious house special soup. chicken pot pie soup. was amazing. so delicious. my friend said it was the best soup she has ever had. it was so good. she had the tacos and i actually ate 2 of them since she was full after the soup and two
tacos. four total. i had a half french dip sandwich which was great and a bowel of the same soup. very good.

Menu has no symbol to denote vegan and upon review does not appear to support sustainable movement. Uneventful though the ambience is appealing and front staff was pleasant.

My favorite lunch spot! Great views, food and service. My favorites are the chicken sandwich and the French dip. And you have to get the yummy fries with the to die for aioli to dip them in. And take a lemon ricotta cookie for the road.

No kids friendly.

The food was okay we got a Caesar salad with salmon and a Cobb salad with salmon. I think it just overpriced for rich white ladies that like to pretend to shop at Nordstrom.

Why do they let non service dog in the restaurant? The waiters pet the dog then go get people's food. Isn't it a health code violation.

2 stars might be generous. Not what I expect of a Nordstrom cafe. Took over 40 minutes to get served and overpriced portions were small. Waiter mentioned his truck just got stolen right before handing us our check, presumably for a bigger tip. Then he handed me back someone else’s debit card and gave my credit card to another patron. I didn’t notice for 2 days as the cards were from the same bank. I called and spoke to the manager who said she would try to find the guest whose debit card I got on LinkedIn and contact him. It’s been weeks and she’s never called back. I would think a restaurant would have offered to comp my meal or offer a gift certificate for my inconvenience caused by their mistake, and which I’ve never had happen in decades of using credit cards at restaurants. It took nearly 3 weeks for me to get my card replaced. And during the one call I had with the manager, she kept dismissively referring to me as “hon.” It was extremely off putting. I will not be going back.

Food was amazing, I didn't catch the hostess name but she was great. Padre added an extra touch of personality at the bar and can't wait to come back!

Had the Lemon Drop Martini not sure if it was really worth the price calamari chewy consistency of Frozen product creme brulee heavy on the caramelized sugar and a bit curdled I enjoy the crab crab bisque with toasted bread

I had gone to the Nordstom real to celebrate my birthday. We did have a good experience however I would say that the portion sizes are extremely small with the prices that the food is. Other than that even with a power outage, the restaurant handled everything really well and the tomato soup is amazing.

I don’t know what it was about this particular Sunday in August, 2024, but we got to the grill at 1 PM and was told we needed to wait 20 minutes to make sure the reservations were seated at first. After 20 minutes we went up and the woman at the hostess stand was overwhelmed, a server came up and said my entire section is empty, she had a long line of people wanting to be seated, and told me she hadn’t even looked at the waitlist, for which we had already waited 20 minutes for. She did not know what she was doing and didn’t know how to use the computer system. We decided to leave as this was not a nice, relaxing lunch.

This restaurant is located at the top floor of Nordstroms. Love the atmosphere and staff is so friendly and attentive. Our most favorite appetizers are the french fries and the brussel sprouts. The salads are fresh and delicious. Cheeseburger, gnocchi, and any of the soups of the day are my favorites. Kid friendly- my kids love the mac and cheese and french fries! Highly recommend if you're looking for a sit-down lunch place the next time you're at the mall.

The lunch salad was very good. I added shrimp which came perfectly prepared. Our service was attentive and helpful. I was shocked when I realized they charged 4.25 for a unsweetened glass of ice tea. I will not have that next time. Overall very nice lunch spot.

The restaurant reminds us of what was Nordstrom class service which doesn't exist in much of the store The guy in Children shoes couldn't even keep his pants up. So sad to shop and nice to have a Nordstrom level experience in the restaurant with kind clean smiles and good service Great food Well done!
