We were looking for a good dinner while visiting the area. The sushi tasted fresh, the service was excellent, and the banana dessert was over the top. The price was reasonable, so overall it is somewhere I would recommend.

We used to love this place, but it really sucked tonight. We never got our sushi. Tea finally came after having to ask three different servers. When it finally came it was room temperature. The soup we ordered was so sweet it gagged us. Service was terrible too. Our waitress never kept us informed of the food timing as we waited so long. It used to be much cleaner and that has also gone down. I will never eat here again

We absolutely love dining here! The staff is always so welcoming, and you can really tell how much care and effort the sushi chefs put into everything they make. We come in probably 2–3 times a month because the food is consistently amazing every single time. It has become one of our favorite spots, and we recommend it to everyone we know!

Food was incredible, the chef was super awesome and explained to us where all the fish he selects comes from, they are super high quality. The staff were very very kind and friendly. Amazing sushi spot!

I was one of their first customers over 20 years ago, and still drive down from Cheyenne, Wyoming to eat there. My wife from Tokyo says the takoyaki is the best in Colorado.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years!
My favorite dish is Longmont style hamachi.
They use to come on a spoon.
Please Sakura bring the spoons back!
It makes the dish more enjoyable!

Sakura prepares the best Japanese food that I've ever had in the U.S. It is equal to Tokyo's best restaurants. The staff is great and the owner is a jewel of a person.

I had a wonderful experience at Sakura Japanese Cuisine.
The sushi prepared by the owner-chef was absolutely outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and crafted with true skill and care.

What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality from his wife. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in.

The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and very comfortable, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

Without a doubt, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Longmont.
Highly recommended — I am definitely sure you will be satisfied and happy!

Love Everything about this place! Excellent service, excellent sushi! Sakura has replaced our usual Boulder sushi restaurant options because it’s such a better setting . I recommend them to anyone who asks about sushi in Longmont :)

Food service is amazing! So many sushi rolls that just explode with flavor and the cooks are so sweet and always stop to say hello even when the restaurant is packed full. This is the best sushi place not only because of the amazing food but also the amazing people! 💕
