We were excited to try Sakura based on reviews of the sushi. However we were disappointed. The sushi was fresh - especially evident with the sashimi - but the rolls were ho-hum, on the small side and nothing creative or memorable. The main ding is about the service: from the moment we were seated we were rushed to order by a person with an obvious upselling goal. She was mature, may have been an owner but seemed stressed, lacked warmth and hospitality, and seemed keen on getting us in and out of the restaurant quickly. We were having a rare visit with our out of state granddaughter and were not slow. We simply were not allowed to relax! We observed her treat other new arrivals in the same manner. The younger staff were all friendly and responsive. I'm just sad that our experience was tainted in this way. You may want to choose a slow / odd hour to try this place. We will not likely go back given other good options nearby.

This is our family's favorite restaurant and has been for a very long time. The food is incredible, always fresh, with new creative rolls all the time. The service is amazing, everyone is so friendly and kind. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I recommend this place to everyone!
