Even though it doesn't seem like a lot of food, we got the full course meal, which is certainly plenty of food. Appetizers salad, main entrée, and dessert with refills. Answer your request. The service was quite nice. Plenty of attention being paid to us and the tables around us. It was my wife's birthday, and they brought us a special treat at the end. Would certainly recommend.
Our server was great, talked fast, but was excellent and efficient. The ambiance/building is kind of depressing/too dark, an old building smells and feels. The food was good, not great/outstanding. The appetizer and dessert items, you can tell they are just bulk items you can buy at Costco/Sysco (pretzel, bread, waffle, pound cake, brownie, blondie, etc) and cut it small for dipping. It is an experience, not really about the food. The front desk can be much better and attentive...
I was there on a first date and thought the restaurant was conducive to talking. The server was great and there was plenty of food. I was stuffed when I left the restaurant. I loved the history of the building and how Melting Pot stayed true to its roots.
